Every video I watch showing all the work progress makes me impressed with the management that must be involved to make all of this happen. Yes...the workers do the work, but they need the materials so all of the sourcing and lead times come into play as well as the sequencing of each job needs to be well integrated with the rest of all that's going on. Bravo to the managers who are controlling all of this!!

I think is is because Elon Musk is really involved. He checks what is causing inefficiency end removes it. In my experience, one of the man efficiency problems in many companies is the lack of interest of many top level managers. If one removes this ones for ones with real interest, the productively multiplies. I remember that Elon fired a few times a lot of manager.

Management has never accelerated a single project in human history….. they’re not achievers that’s why they manage (at companies that will eventually fail)

@@colemiller8685 Do you think that the people who organized the quarrying of the multiple millions of blocks of varying stone that make up the pyramids did a good job? The engineers that figured out HOW to assemble all the blocks did a good job? Someone HAD to be in charge to make such a job go smoothly to completion...and I'm willing to congratulate management when a job succeeds. Don't get me wrong...I've been involved in projects that failed miserably because of poor management despite them being told every day where things were going to end up....but some managers would rather fail than admit that their leadership is flawed. I've been fortunate to have had GOOD managers in the past that helped us succeed....not by micro-managing the project but by listening to their workers and employing that feedback into the work. You need both good workers and good management to be successful and SpaceX proves this point.

The thumbnail image for this video reminds me of an iconic movie scene; where the ents are attacking Isengard, in _The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers_ The crane in the middle is an ent, and Module 4 is a boulder or something, which is about to be thrown at a bunch of orcs. Now, in the scene I'm talking about, the ents are effectively waging war on one of the aforementioned Two Towers. Whereas in this real life scene unfolding in front of us, the cranes are actually the primary means with which The Two Towers of Boca Chica will have been brought into existence.

Hopefully, engineers will soon be able to design and build a starship with greater carrying capacity. The current carrying capacity of the starship is about 150 tons. If the load capacity is increased to more than 900 tons, it will be a huge breakthrough in the history of human commercial rocket technology. Advanced steel/special parts/high-temperature insulation tile/additive manufacturing plants need to be built in the United States as quickly as possible and more senior talent hired to expedite the completion of these research projects.

Why aren't the mega bays connected by a gantry across the top. Surely if there was a fire it would be safer to walk across to the next bay rather than going down towards a fire. Plus the view would be amazing from up there
