I can see this playoff field happening for sure. I debated on Jones for sure. I believe in brad K finally winning though. But the field is really full of guys that are playoff capable. Would’ve been wild to have so many capable teams years ago

Kudos for the whole field standings, I think the 7,77 spire cars will fare better. I could see that being the playoff field for sure.

Hendrick has been the best team the past 2 years but the next gen with this playoff format simply doesn’t reward the best teams for all season. The old car , in house could make that phx car better, and homestead the best teams/drivers elevated anyway. But next gen doesn’t work with this format for sure

@tristonwebb8062 I actually agree on the surface, but choosing literally any driver to be in the 30s was difficult because I can see a case for any charter team to finish 20th, even them. I like Hocevar and still put him that low, same with Gragson. I hope I'm wrong.

I feel like this year more than any others, there are a clear 16 favorites to make it and if they don’t it’s a huge disappointment regardless. 4 hendrick, 4 Gibbs, 2 RFK, 2 Penske, 2 23/11, and then kylebusch and Ross chastain, with suarez also kind of in that group, but I know that’s too simple lol

It’s top heavy on favorites, then it’s a fairly tight group. It could be something like bubba or Suarez miss by 10-15 points and then the next driver is like 75 points back or more

Oof. Poor Todd gilliland and the 38 team. My original note on my “way out “ points I had the “38 car” listed and then had a brain lapse when I was typing up my soundbites, but I do think the 34 and 47 are kind of grouped together and that’s why I said so lol
