This game is completely broken, don't let this guy lie to your faces like that. I bought and refunded this game on Steam, here's a small list of issues with the game. No caution, you see that he cuts after every crash? It's because the AI keeps running as if nothing had happened. No set ups, you can only choose between tight and loose, nothing besides that. The AI doesn't know how to use the third line of the track, so on the turns you can fly past 5, 7, 8 carsjust using the outside line with no effort. The AI is also extremely slow and you can easily dominate on the hardest difficulty with the worst teams. The AI also doesn't know how to pit. If you try your car drives to the pitwall, go right past it and back to the track. The camera shake when you touch other cars makes it impossible to use the inside view of the car. There's no fuel gage or tyre status, and you can't have a speed gage inside the car. It's not a simulation, you can easily play with all assists turned off on a controller and the car is glued to the track, you'll only spin when the AI pushes you into it, because the AI have no behavior to try to avoid crashed. Go on the steam forums for a list of more issues. This guy is flat out lying.

ok hear me out I think I got an idea, if forza added cops in the game it would act like an ai system, they would sit on the side of the road in various locations and act like it was a speed trap in the game. if you were going at a high rate of speed the cop would "chase you" it would then become like a "head to head" challenge where you have to make it to a certain locate were its "safe" If the cop caught up to you it could ethier be a simulation pull over or it would just end the challenge. there are so many types of leaderboads that could go along with this it would be really cool

The game was unfinished but they had to release it because of the contract or they would have lost it. The game came out broken… the patches while not perfect have made it so much better. They are making huge progress in only a week. Give a little more time and this game will be great. The physics are very realistic and good without the bugs.

So no WWE2k21 but will have a new game for 2022. Maybe just maybe someone in Nascar needs to oversee this stuff and say it is not ready. Then not have it release. It actually has the best racing damage that’s been in a game for NASCAR license in a while. Because of the contract between Manufacturers and Developers there is only so much damage they can show to the car. The actual physics of the game are actually really good.

Been playing Nascar games many many years to anyone thinking of buying this game DONT!! worse one ever released to date and they have been some bad ones over the years . It seems this company knew 0 about Nascar or didn't care at all taking peoples money for a train wreck of a game. Don't believe me just search YT about this game and you'll see first hand what gamers are dealing with. Patch Patch Patch people saying. But when this junk was released no mirrors my wheel wouldn't plug and play after patch yes but not the shifter paddles only No stages No setups you know set a car up for your racing style NOPE! cautions no but in after the patch yep but broken big time... Madden gets updates and has its moments BUT when you buy it you have first downs , plays , clocks , timeouts you know everything that is football . Heat 5 gives you everything Nascar stages , setups and ect . Nascar 21 is miles behind. If you want pretty graphics then drop $60 if you want everything to work and not have a melt down stick with past Nascar games. And anyone says ohhhhhh their trying and releasing patches BS ! Why need patches for a game based on nascar to add things in that should have been in the car on day one. That past Heats had .....

I've played hundreds of different racing games in all genres since the mid eighties and not one single time have i enjoyed a nascar themed game and to this day it's still just boring as hell. What is the thrill about it and why is it so popular in the USA?

When you grow up in small southern towns your only exposure to racing is dirt and asphalt oval tracks. Its just what people grow up with and learn to enjoy. I prefer watching F1 and Indycar now that im older but honestly, the racing itself is much more interesting in Nascar events. It just gets old watching them drive on an oval every race. Definitely one of the easiest/simplest forms of motorsports but idk, its nostalgic for me i guess.

@@billyfitzgerald834 That might be it. For an 'outsider' like me it just looks like long straights and curves with almost no variety. When playing a new one it's exciting in the beginning and the first race is pretty good, but after that it just dies for me every time.

@@laurasfar18 Yea, the simplicity of the tracks make it fairly boring after a while. I watch the road course and short track races now but thats about it. People love these types of games because you dont really have to practice. Just jump in and race. Where with road course racing it can take a driver years to perfect a track. Dirt racing on the other hand is really interesting to me. Those drivers really have some skill. When im sim racing though im usually practicing with some open wheel road course car just because its challenging. Codemaster F1 games are even really fun and challenging even though its not directly a sim. Brilliantly constructed games
