NASCAR Boom Tubes & AC!? Boomhauer’s the ULTIMATE Chevy C10 Squarebody Street Truck

If there's one thing we consistently dream about, it's putting racecar parts on our street cars. Or trucks. So when Zac got the opportunity to grab a genuine NASCAR side exit flat pipe, you BEST believe he was going to find a way to make it work on his C10. At the same time, he gets a brand new AC system installed by our friends at Vintage Air. Because if you're going to deafen yourself with all those Texas Speed horses, you might as well do it in comfort.

@@LT3Fluffy Not if you take care of your trucks and fix the hinges when needed. I have two square bodies and a firm push or pull works fine. Surprisingly, the new chevy duramax trucks require similar force, otherwise they latch only half way. Yes, there is a unique sound to a square body door closing and they are always noisy, even when closed like you care about the truck.

Dont DIY your A/C! You'll spend the same amount you'd pay a pro fixing it twice. Plus they'll do a better job. I speak from experience, and I ain't no slouch at knuckle busting.

The Vintage Air smart guys taught me more about a/c systems than I've learned over decades in the car business. Clean out the glove box. You'll need the space for a bunch of those expandable foam earplugs.

Hell yeah! The one thing every car show leaves out is adding AC. I know some guys will say no reason for it but if you live in Los Angeles or other hot areas... its 100% necessary on something you're going to use. Awesome to see a step by step type on adding AC.
