I was watching the hockey game last night and noticed the race was on FS1. When I started watching it during stage 2 they were showing in car camera and when the car would enter the corner the driver never let off the accelerator. What happened to drive it deep in the corner the best you can. Those cars remind me of indy cars driving on 1.5 track wide open. All the drivers are doing is driving them wide open and hoping they get a good finish.

Yeah sadly the off throttle time is mostly gone but it was a great race nonetheless.

You know what makes this race better? When you watched it 1.25 x. The cars are just so slow. It's very depressing. That's why I don't watch it on TV anymore or go to any races.

This package is pretty good for these 1.5 mile tracks... but drivers still shouldn't be able to almost floor it through the turns. Lower downforce slightly and increase horsepower slightly, but the drag is fine as it is imo.

@@runrafarunthebestintheworld it's not the NASCAR I remember and I've been a racing fan since I was a kid in the 80s. It makes every 1.5 mike oval into Daytona coz they are driving flat out and drafting. That's superspeedway bumpdrafting at ever cookie cutter track 1.5 mike and up. Dumb.
