When the car starts to get loose you don’t want to fight it and try to counter the wheel, just drive the corners as you normally would and let the car be loose, the back end will start to shake but you won’t spin out unless you’re braking late and then forcing the corner while staying in the throttle. It’s hard to not react when the car starts to loosen up, just tell yourself to keep it steady 👍🏼

Some tips for Trev and fans 1. Drive in first person you can get a better feel of the car & true angel without lock. 2. Mainly for slower tracks and f1. Drive in manual you can get more speed by feel also being in the power band and you can utilize engine braking. 3. Dont look back as much. You tend to look back and get distracted easily. These are just some tips that I think would help you. I know that they did for me.

I live ~ 10 minutes from Indianapolis Motor Speedway and it’s crazy just how much Indy truly loves the IMS/Indy 500. So many people having IMS flags flying outside their homes year round.

The Indy 500 is the biggest race in the IndyCar Series. The Brickyard 400 (which is what he is racing) is not the biggest race in NASCAR but it is definitely a historic one

If you find yourself in no mans land the only way you’re catching back up to the pack is to either sit behind the person in front of you bump drafting them or having them do it to you. Swapping positions is just gonna lose you time every lap. Also if you want to stop hitting the apron in turns you need to move your eyes to the apex either at your breaking point or corner entry if there’s no breaking point. Same thing when you’re playing F1, you’ll be amazed at how many apexes you won’t miss if you just focus your eyes there instead of behind you or the car in front.

In the settings change the skill range to narrow this will make the cars closer together on the longer runs

Few tips: (1) You wanna run a tighter setup when you usually have real tight corners like a smaller track, for bigger corners like a speedway or super speedway run looser, running too loose will chew your tires up faster so don’t go all the way with it. (2) Play on expert for controls, you’ll get better track speeds and is still easy to control. (3) you have the worst car in the game since it’s your first season that’s why your so slow and get bad goal times. If you do step 2* you’ll be able to actually compete. (4) Also in your settings make the AI tighter this way there not all spread out across the track. Makes for a more realistic race as well as more entertaining.

Everyone thinks this track is the same at all four corners. But in fact they are all different. Turn one has a dip that cars lose a bit of aero affecting turn in. Turn two is different speed than turn 4. Turn three is different from turn one as it has a bump mid turn and also the wind direction affects cars speeds on both long straights. Which also changes the cars speed coming out of the short Shute at 2 and 4

I tried to play F1 2020 and just couldn’t do it..... I tried the downshifting and braking at the yellow and only one time did I make the apex perfectly...... and it was on the easiest track..... I’ve been enjoying this a lot more!! My favorite track so far is Talladega!

The lose/ tight settings should be to where you can take corners at full speed, with slight give for tire wear (If On)

Trev sorry to correct you but in NASCAR it's the brickyard 400 and in INDYCAR people would call it the Indianapolis 500 and others would call it the INDY 500.

Cant tell you how to drive but if you would have hooked up with JJ for 4 laps, you two could have utilized the draft to more of an advantage to rejoin the group. Patience is just as integral as feathering the gas/brake instead of fully lifting or fully braking individually. Use them together trying not to switch pedals with one foot. Tandem attacks
