I was excited about this game for a while until I started to take a long, hard look at things. It's got the graphics of a PS3 game, sound effects from like 2002, too much dlc out of the box, and the physics look like they're from Dirt to Daytona even in simulation mode. This isn't acceptable.

I've been saying that from the start. People berated me, laughed at me, insulted me. I knew this game wouldn't be up to snuff. It's not godawful, but it isn't top quality either. It needs a ton of work and a lot of basic things are kind of missing like..the track map. I just. I don't get how you come in here thinking you're making a game like you did in 2002 and expect that work. It just doesn't. Their game was pretty good back in the day but it's not great now and yet they expected this to just be easy and to make it work. The 'going back to the right' feeling was in Nascar Heat and Dirt to Daytona as well. Going back to play those games makes me realize how genuinely bad they are for driving. It's like they took their old notes and decided 'yeah that wasn't flawed' even though we all know it was. They just simply didn't try to give us a proper Nascar game. It's sad when the EA games are still better than this in terms of driving physics. This team needs to really step up their game for next year or they are going to lose a ton of fans.

I just got done playing a quick race too. I'm thinking figuring out a good set up for the tracks are gonna be really key to fix that twitchyness. Also idk if online is able to use set ups. Which is gonna be a major downfall if that's the case.

I have max difficulty and simulation and it is impossible to run actual realist lap times I qualified first running like 31 seconds in real life poles at Kansas are usually 28.1 or2 it's like this at all tracks any help?

I have to say that I was so excited to get this game. I'm a huge nascar fan and I've enjoyed many nascar games since the late 90's. This game is a HUGE let down. I wish I would have just saved my money and bought a renewed subscription to iracing or bought nascar 15 for the ps3. The game feels very amateur, basic, stripped down and rushed. It's not fun. The developers/publishers should feel embarrassed and ashamed. $60 and I feel ripped off. This is a $12 to $15 game at best.

This game is cool! I like how they brought back the car engine sound effects and physics from the older NASCAR games since I grew up with them in the PC version of "NASCAR Heat." I wish they released the PC version as a physical release. One question: Why is the PC version of this game not available on Steam anymore, if it ever was available on there?

In order to play this game...YOU WILL NEED A DRIVING WHEEL. EA Nascar 08 & 09 the driving was HORRIBLE with a Controller, but when I got a Driving Wheel it was a AWESOME BRAND NEW GAME....HUGE HUGE DIFFERENCE WITH A DRIVING WHEEL. Which sucks for me cuz I am disabled an XBOX ONE does Not have a U SHAPED WIRELESS DRIVING WHEEL LIKE THEY DID WITH XBOX 360 as far as I know of. If they do for XBOX ONE please let me know. Otherwise Buy a Driving Wheel at Gamestop they, I think, have a Cheap Plastic Thurstmaster Driving Wheel an Peddals for $99 bucks. Just trying to help. Ps...EA NASCAR 09 GRAPHICS LOOK WAY BETTER THAN THESE GRAPHICS...JUST SAYIN. That is pretty sad.

I have a wheel and this game still feels weird. I like it but it's definitely going to take some getting used to. There's a couple things I already hate after 2 races. The caution system is fucking terrible. I set the AI on auto so I can get the speed rating to adjust so I don't just bump it all the way up. So I was about to lap the first car and clipped the back end of his car and hit that wall. Blew the engine I hit it so hard and there was no caution. So I reversed and hit the first car that I saw and finally got a caution. If there's a major crash and you're still on the track there should be a caution no matter what. Overall the game is ok. Not great but ok. A few patches can fix the problems but I was expecting it to be a little better to be honest.

That's just Forza with stock cars. Definitely not nascar so this is better for nascar fans. If you're comparing Forza to this of course it's better. Forza is one of the best racing games ever but i'd still rather play nascar over Forza all day.

In my opinion. this game just sucks look at the reviews on youtube and steam even critics are dissapointed. it has Terrible driving physics. and the damage physics isisnt even there anymore. Nascar 15 was alot better tho still was bad. This game had so much hype around it peaple thought it would be an improvement over the trash they where releasing for the last 6 years. But instead we get the same game with worse physics and driving and more pathetic glitches with the AI expecially with the Texus Track This game is downwrite Unfinished. There no story at all just a few game modes that are all boring. the graphics Meh not really that special and its a waste of money i know there are peaple who like the game but most consider it bad or Terrible. I have the game myself and literally threw it away after 8 hours of endless bugs and just repetitive gameplay. thats my opinion only
