NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Stafford 150 at Stafford Motor Speedway 8/2/19

The drivers of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour were back on the track for their second race of the year at Stafford Motor Speedway on Friday, August 2, 2019. It was Doug Coby who captured the pole during qualifying and dominated the first 147 laps of the race before the first (and only) caution came out with three laps to go. Only six drivers were left on the lead lap and with differing pit strategies, Coby got shuffled back to sixth at the start of the green-white-checkered. Ron Silk made a bold move in turn two of the second-to-last lap and went on to steal the victory from Doug Coby. Check out all the action in this highlights video!
