I absolutely hate the fact that Cup Series drivers are allowed to compete in the XFinty and Truck series. Although I know they can’t gain any points in their Cup standings by winning in these series, they bite a real chunk out of the money. And it just feels wrong !!! Let young inexperienced drivers have a go at winner’s circle instead of Larson, Allmendinger etc. Drivers to series !

Ok. Serious question. I thought Nascar was the race that went in circles a million time, is this a regular nascar track? I'm a catlr enthusiast mostly in the JDM& Italian market. I work on japanese cars& love Italian. So, as far as competitive car racing goes I'm really into drifting, drag, rally & street. So I've never really paid attention to like nascar & formula.

Yes it is. Nascar has a handful of road courses they run a year and they actually used to only run a road course 2 times a year but now they have the handful I mentioned earlier.

there are a total of 6 road courses on the cup series calendar. not sure about the rest tho.

They also raced a road course in Portland recently. Which is new to me. This year has a few surprises as far as locations go. I'm used to the standard schedule they had when I watched a decade ago.
