An interesting fact about this race: Joey Hand, in the Stage 60 RFK car, won the 60th scheduled Stage of the 2024 Season.

Gracias y abrazos NASCAR.

These stock car circuit races are so exciting, but why upload a 4 hour race with 2 1/2 hours of weather interruptions.
@markm4565 ай бұрын
I just think that these drivers are the best, and you drive within the limits, I'm sure people would rather watch them drive slow and careful than keep flagging, if these drivers and cars cannot handle the rain, then they are going to fast, at the end of the day only the best will win.

Genuinely curious how much police have to clear and secure the area before they start setting up the race and how much police patrol around the area during the Chicago race. So much dumbassery goes on in Chicago that there HAS to be extra precautions in place.

Grant Park closes every night at 11, or the Park District or CPD arrests you for trespassing. That’s how, as it’s not a 24-hour park, as none of them are in Chicago. As for the security, there’s three perimeter fence lines, so good luck getting in if you don’t have a pass. This is common with events like the marathon and Lolla. Not sure why you think this is a big deal. Events like these have been going on for decades at this location with professional, experienced setup and breakdown staff knowing what to do.
