I remember being at this race and the crowd went absolutely nuts when Busch ran out of fuel and Kenseth stole it. Probably the loudest crowd i've witnessed at a NASCAR race.

Today's race at Pocono was very similar to this one. With 10 laps to go, three drivers leading the race ran out of fuel. Brad Keselowski was leading when he ran out of gas with 7 laps to go and gave the lead to William Byron. William Byron ran out of gas with 4 laps to go and gave the lead to Denny Hamlin. Denny Hamlin ran out of gas with 2 laps to go and gave the lead to Kyle Busch. And Kyle Busch went on to win the race.

ZiadEverything If there's a dangerous situation on the track, they throw the caution. That can be an accident where cars come to a stop, or when there is debris which could potentially cause an accident or cut someone's tire. I can answer more specifically if you'd like, but I would need a more specific question.

if the leader is to far away from the rest of the top 5 and he's cruising to a win..there'll be an invisible debris caution so the finish is more intense and there's a green white checkered

Brian Jefferson Unfortunately I've only been watching since the mid/late-90s (or at least that's the earliest I remember) so I don't remember car bodies on racecars. But I've seen some classic races that, at least to me, were a lot more exciting. From looking through the history, it made the manufacturers get really involved and put out better street cars instead of using it merely as a marketing tool. The technology developed for the track actually applied to their fleets. I don't mind the parity in the current setup since it showcases driver talent foremost, but I feel like the engineers have too little wiggle room to give their driver that extra edge.
