4:04 Is that general admission lawn seating or is that a hill out of bounds off ISM property that they just got clever and decided to watch the race from?
@kamz45764 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's raceway property and is general admission hillside seating (bring your own chair, of course). While watching the race, you can also watch the VIP's land/take off from the adjacent helipad.🍺

NASCAR Diecast Hub Umm, No. My question was one of general curiosity. I, in no way implied/suggested I disagree with cars touching or safe aggressive driving/drivers, nor did I even complain about it. I'm sorry your crush on Edwards and lack of reading comprehension led you to believe I did. Since you brought it up; I have problem with cars making general contact throughout the race. Seeing a group of cars going 115mph+, inches from each other is what makes the sport exciting to watch. But trying to crash/take out another driver, aside from being unsafe, is a cheap, honor-less, coward move. I do see how anyone can say it's not a chick-sh*t cowards way of winning; again, it's one thing for cars to bump while grouped together, it's a natural part of circumstances, but it's another thing to intentionally slam the side of your car into another, when it's a one on one race to the finish, in attempt to slow that driver down in order to win. It's like tripping another runner in a sprint. I just don't see how any driver can look himself in the mirror and call himself a winner, knowing that he didn't have the faster car and had to take some else out in order to win. It's about having the best mechanics to make the car, pit crew to make changes, crew chief to manage it all, and driver to push/control the car to it's full potential. If your team has the second fastest car during the last lap, it's a coward, cry baby move to go beyond bumping doors to slow the other car down. Again, there's nothing wrong with cars touching, only natural when you have that many cars going that fast around a "small" area (sh*t happens); but making it intentional in order to win is cowardly and borders cheating (regardless of what the rules are/aren't. It's pretty clear it's an unspoken rule and gentleman's understanding.) And yes, as a fan of motorsports, I fully enjoy F1 and Indy, but I respect the rules and aspects of each sport independently. I like both American Football and Soccer, but I don't complain about rules of one sport being/not being enforced in the other.

1:37 That's what we were all thinking... And what's with Biffle irrelevantly bitching every week? Least when Kyle does it, he's actually a factor in the race.
@wesleyem38 жыл бұрын
He used to be a pretty dang good driver, but ever since 2010 onward, he's gotten MUCH worse in performance. Half because of NASCAR's bullcrap rules and changes, and because of these drivers who are overall better.
@pidgeot18938 жыл бұрын
+chevyPIKMIN181 I'd say since 2013. matt left, and carl leaving, and replacing them with Ricky and Bayne certainly doesn't help. but the biggest reason in my opinion, was after the 2014 season, Jack Ross's most reliable crew chief, and one of the best ever, Jimmy Fennig decided to retire. Those last few years with him atop the pit box, roush racing would have looked nearly as bad as they do now, if not for him
tfw Bowyer is a back marker. I knew HScott would be a step down but holy crap he's a complete non-factor

Saddest thing is: PIR is the only track I live near. And since Kevin dominates there, it's always such a huge disappointment when he wins. I go there, get all sunburnt, spend $20+ on food/drink and I can predict who the winner is gonna be.
@samattox28 жыл бұрын
Same with me, except at Texas and Johnson always wins
@pidgeot18938 жыл бұрын
in my opinion, you still have one of the most underappreciated racetracks. Harvick may win there a lot but the track has always provided great racing. And along with Darlington, the only tracks that didn't kill the racing when they repave it
@BrettMKW8 жыл бұрын
+chevyPIKMIN181 Only track near me is New Hampshire, nowadays I only go to the september race because the july race sucks with the high temperatures and uncomfortably high New England humidity. Been going there since 2004.

Why Does NASCAR not race in the rain when f1 races in the rain and it's open wheel it make no sense
@Tanglepelt8 жыл бұрын
They can, on road courses. And on an oval it would be boring to watch, they'd go no more than 60mph and a caution literally every lap.
@kevin__brucewilliams8 жыл бұрын
and plus F1 drivers aren't as aggressive as NASCAR.
@maryshetley33308 жыл бұрын
yeah f1 drivers cant be as aggressive as nascar drivers cause if they were they be fined lol
@braden12658 жыл бұрын
TheKfactr "makes no sense"; we do on road courses; rain tires windshield wipers and lights in the rear window, on ovals would be stupid. You can't go 200+ mph in the rain, on top of that the rain makes it almost impossible to see when it's coming up from the tires and would be impossible to race on tracks like martinsville Bristol etc. also NASCAR is a contact sport unlike F1, F1 drivers aren't allowed to even touch each other (which makes for horrible racing) stock cars wouldn't be able to stay in control and the racing would be boring on ovals. Never gonna happen outside road courses
