Will never ever forget this day. Truex has always been my favorite driver and to see him win this championship was just beyond words incredible. I still can't watch this without tearing up, that's how much it meant to me to see my favorite driver win a Cup championship. Still hoping he can get at least one more, maybe go out on top when he decides to retire. I know he can do it again, through all the heartbreak of three 2nd place finishes since this day in 2017. But regardless, I'm going to miss this class act of a driver when he does leave racing full-time. Not looking forward to that day, really hope he can go out on top then 😭

The use of Debussy's "Clair de Lune" for the conclusion is an amazingly artful touch. Never expected that with auto racing! Well done, FOX Sports. And my brother (Kurt Becker) didn't forewarn me his MRN broadcast moments were to be the voiceover lead-in. As for Martin, I love this championship outcome. Great surprises altogether!

Quite over-edited! I love the fact that making the Homestead Radioactive more special, longer, after all it IS the Championship Race - what the season comes down to. But this was too much. It's like someone just learned all the the special effects tools in the editing software. The last 2 years' Final Radioactives were beautiful masterpieces, this one was a bit 'extra'. :/ The effects overshadow the content.

I couldn't be any happier to see Martin and his team winning it. Out of the four, no other team deserved that more than Martin and his team. It's funny to think years ago Furniture Row was just getting into the top seed of NASCAR as one of the under budget teams, with Regan Smith and Truex was in the 56 getting cheated out of a championship thanks to Micheal Waltrip and barely getting his name called on TV. Now today, Martin is a champion and Furniture row racing is considered to be one of the top dominant teams in NASCAR.

The Daytona 500 is 86 days away, and the best part is that the race is back where it belongs: On President's Day Weekend on February 18th, 2018 instead of the last Sunday of the month and I can't believe it will be the 60th Running! The trophy to the driver better be plated with diamonds just like the 2008 trophy was gold-plated for the 50th Running.

Brett Miller it’s the NASCAR cup series back in the early 2010s. The Sprint cup part of the title is just a sponsor. It’s the same exact thing that we have today except Sprint put their name on the title and made all the chase stuff yellow, for obvious reasons
