My circle using Jellyfin as it free and android app is ok. Not try yet on Iphone and TV. The only problem is on Jellyfin if there is way to "Backup Config and Data" as Sona** or Rada** And thank you for review Jonsbo N3. Very nice case for my NAS

Jellyfin does what it's made for, streaming content, with no subscription or stuffs no one wants. Only quirks is the Chromecast interface, they need to fix it.

Cost is not the issue - both Plex and Emby need Internet access to operate, they are severely crippled without it. If the Internet goes down for any length of time, I think the world would collapse... Having total independent control of your entertainment on a home NAS is why Jellyfin wins for me.

Once again, how can we compare them? As long as you can't simply access your video base outside of your home, Jellyfin won't be worth more than VLC with a nice skin.

You can, just make yourself a tunnel/vpn into your home network

@@malighos I installed everything under Ubuntu Server and Docker, and when I did that, I didn't just have to do port forwarding...
