We loved Naseem Hamed here in Argentina, even Maradona was fan of him. He had charisma and personality. He shouldnt quit after Barrera, he was a good showman,

He was one of the great fighters, fearless and powerful with a unique style, he walked into the ring, just the like a walk in the park, no stress no fear, unmatched confidence.

@rizzi2007 yeah he was. i remember this actual fight got me in to boxing, but i knew that little about the sport i thought this fight was a measure of how far hamed was ahead of the field. maybe a little naive, but he definietely made the sport ace for a few years.

Claro, este payaso de Hamed la primera que peleó fuera de gran Bretaña cayó 3 veces creo q contra Johnson o algo así. Y después Barrera obvio, fue una mentira

Hamed is match with Darchinyan and Mayweather because they do entertainment during the fight. I think Hamed can outsmart Floyd with his style.

Naseem was a little cocky confident arrogant showoff... ...and he had every right to be. period. So get off your arses and leave a legacy like he did then you earn the right to slate him from behind a screen... many many years after he left his mark.

Naz reminds me a bit of Mike Tyson. On that performance, youd think he could take ANYONE, but think by the time of both their defeats, they had run out of juice almost. Werent ENJOYING what they once did. Shame really. But thats BOXING bless!!
@MrConnolly2513 жыл бұрын
What a waste, Hamed's greed and shocking handling finished him.Why or whoever convinced him that having his Family manage him was the worst piece of acvice in boxing history as his family clearly had no idea how to handle a fighter their only interest was making themselves as much money as possible. absolute waste of talent

+Tyler Vanner I've attended two professional fights. Both were Roy Jones. He had more talent and speed than anyone I had ever seen. I was working in Indiana at the time he fought Richard Hall, so I couldn't pass on the opportunity. I had very good seats and it was a brutal, one-sided, fight. At the distance I was, you truly understood what these men were capable of. Bernard Hopkins fought on the undercard. During Roy's entrance it shows me briefly. The second was when I turned 21. I decided to fly to Los Angeles to vacation and see Roy take on Julio César González. Again, I sat in about the 4th row. I shook hands with Henry Winkler, Forest Whitaker and Sugar Shane Mosely. It was a star studded crowd with celebrities all around me.

Yeah great to watch a fight and hear no commentator and see a fight in the flesh. Never been to LV for a fight and that is something i'll regret all my life that I never saw a peak Tyson fight in LV. But I did get to meet him when he came to london. Yeah I miss going to a good fight as the Boxing game has changed a lot in the UK in the last decade or more. Nothing interesting to watch at all. A load of pretty boy pretenders whom have no skill at all

yeah i do think barrera is better because he showed it thruout his carrer, naseem realized that he was not able to compete against top class boxers thats why i think he left boxing ,, he only beat 3rd class boxers thats why he was so cocky and danced in his fights but everyone has a theyre own opinion
