Really like the whole Scope concept! Keeping it simple, staying mobile! You would think that as carpangling and the gear evolved it would have become more tidy and lighter, but now you can hardly do a daysession without a barrow... Back in the days you could have all you would ever need on your back and in your hands! Big ups for seeking back to that spirit again!

Great Dvd as always. Really nice to see someone more into the fishing and mechanics thank the fame etc it comes with. Proper old school where it started from, and a great advert for Carp fishing and the sport of angling. My Bite alarm didn't get wet ,,as you said they are extremely waterproof it was a lovely dry sunny day when it packed up,, an way I've dug out me old Fox warrior bite alarms put batteries in them and they still working and i can say I've had them some years..lol.

Nice vid some nice kit on view but being a poor ole Dustman I'm still making good use of two Hooligun rods with two H-Gun BP 10 reels which I've just serviced myself and respooled with twenty pound line all this still serves me very well ,, just wondering if Nash tackle had a spare spool for my reels as when i respool my line as i just reverse it so the bottom of the line on the spool becomes the top so I've new line again many thanks.. Mick.

Reckon you need a Nash float, keeps the line off the bottom. Vertical lines spook carp a lot less than horizontal ones. Rig of choice below? Excellent video.

Hi nice vid..i had a quick session today so just used one rod ..Outlaw 11 footer ..and a Siren S5 Red bite alarm which packed up after four an half hrs fishing bit disappointed, Or perhaps i got a dud one..lol.

Just an idea how about a military green jumper with shoulder pads and elbow pads with a Nash logo on the front of the left shoulder pad and another on the rear of the the right elbow pad ,,I've visualized this in my mind and would look quite nice.

i play Tench on the canal in freespool using your fingers on the reel because you cant adjust the drag quick enough before snags, is there a reel on the market that has a constant smooth bail arm design ? instead of the bumpy jurky affair ?

I find it very hard to believe an algae bloom killed fish. Algae is nature's way of purifying water and would actually take in carbon dioxide and produce oxygen through photosynthesis as well as reducing pollutants such as ammonia, nitrite and nitrate which are harmful to fish. If anything an algae bloom would help the situation.
