Really good insights, lovely video. I won’t fish boilies in winter as I generally fish lower stock harder venues but your venue choice and boilie approach is worth noting

Hi Mate, Dan here! Funny story about the drone on this shoot! All the fishing was done on a watercraft basis, the video guys tend to put up the drone when the weather is good (can't fly them in the rain or heavy wind!) or towards the end of the session. We try to make it as REAL as possible on the fishing front. After blanking my first night i'd decided to move to the middle area of the lake, just before it got light. I got the rods out, the sun came up - life was good. The weather was good so the video team put the drone up to get some visuals. Turned out on some basis it was a good move because they did see some carp in the water in front of me. However they took GREAT pleasure in telling me there was a group of carp in the swim i'd left, 2 VERY big carp feeding on my spot i'd fished the night and just left! On this occasion, the drone only showed me that i should have stayed put! However I didn't move back to that swim, I stuck with my decision and luckily did then manage a couple of bites from the new area! Although I know these films it must seem like we just follow the fish with a drone, however we don't usually put that drone up until the angler has the rods out or it's towards the end of the session, so not to influence the fishing too much! Good video. To be fair I'm using Nash 3.25 Rods for my Pike Fishing and they are great. Strong enough to get a bait out, but still a nice action playing the fish
