Nash TV Carp Fishing

Alan Blair and the lads from the office at Nash get together in search of surface caught carp. Not to do things by halves they fish three venues in 24 hours, working as a team to catch as many carp possible.

I bought this kzbin.infoUgkxWv_wTHyTRVm0QkcOw1Rz2-5g_gDoRTkU to be a backdrop for video meetings ("virtual backgrounds" are awesome, but they tend to accidentally delete body parts on screen and it freaks me out a little).It's a good height to be positioned about 4 feet behind me and still cover up to the top of the screen.Bear in mind that you have to zig-zag it, which means it's not as wide as you might expect. I got the 4-panel version, and I probably should have gone for the 6-panel, but I'm making it work.I have it on a carpet, which is not great. The packing box came with large sheets of cardboard to protect the screen. I put one over the carpet, and that makes a much more stable base for the screen.The screen is super lightweight! It's very easy to collapse together and put aside when not needed.

Brilliant fishing as usual lads always find Alan and Ollie so captivating and articulate in the way they speak about carp fishing. Alan you recently fished a syndicate lake in Somerset called bearley lakes that is about 15 minutes from my house did you by any chance do any filming while you was down their. Also there is a brilliant very very old lake that has recently become day ticket called ash mead fishery would be amazing to see you and the lads come down and fish it see what is really in there because it was on a syndicate basis but invite only and was very rarely fished. The carp in there are the last from a famous breeder I forget the name but yeah would be good to see the Nash boys fish it :)

Great looking video from Nash as usual. The video production values are second to none.I'd be interested in what biosecurity measures the lads took as Thorpe Lea had confirmed KHV last year in October. How did they ensure their lines etc. were dry/safe when travelling from there to Horseshoe.

Could anyone help, I was fishing an over depth zig the other day and every fish that took the hook bait never got hooked. I was using a 1.5oz lead and it was about an 8ft zig. Now the reason the fish didn't get hook was that due to the zig being too long to fish with and giving the fish too much slack line or could this be avoided by using a bigger lead keeping the zig tight at all times? Any help is much appreciated, thanks.
@paulfines982
@paulfines982 7 жыл бұрын
GGames answered your own question mate. Always keep it tight on zigs, also using a bit of silicone helps on your hook to give it that curve.

milkmonopoly ... go to Asda, Tesco, Co op, or any store/shop, often they have their own brand dog of dog biscuits, they're cheap and cheerful, grab some tuna oil or chilli oil and add a sprinkling of salt, it's cheap and works great

I reckon we used around 10 kilos of floaters, mixers and riser pellet in total, between four of us over the course of 36 hours and 3 venues. MUCH cheaper than using boilies and, if as mentioned you use supermarket biscuits, well within the budget of any angler. I don't really think you can call that excessive? Cheers, Oli
