Gary clearly beats Tom in that first round race, what were they watching? Also, they saved three total races for the next show & showed the result of two of them in the final clip (along with the start of the championship). No wonder this program & announcers didn't last... But if there is a positive, the line-up of drivers & trucks was first class.

I think Monster Jam was great for the first 6 or 7 years or so and Tom's driving has always been jaw dropping, but yeah that was a bullshit call. Then again, stuff like that happened all the way back in the late 80s and early 90s in the TNT and PENDA series.
