I hate my Invisalign with a passion (thankful but it's the worst). I found that it helps if you take a silicone straw and move it along your teeth while biting down on it with your trays in. Love the Revolve hauls but it's so unaffordable for those who don't get gifted items :-( Maybe mix in some less expensive Revolve brands and/or other stores

The pain from the first Invisalign tray is definitely the worst!! I had Invisalign for 2 years and would always change each tray before I went to sleep and by morning there would be no pressure/pain. Talking also gets so much easier as time goes on - within a week you shouldn’t even notice. Also you could for sure drink your coffee throughout the day with a straw. Since your changing your tray so often it should not discolour, particularly if you clean it twice a day!! Hope that helps 🫶🫶

Promise the pain gets better! I recommend changing your tray before bed! That way by the morning you’ve already adjusted! Also, the first tray is generally the worst pain! After that it feels a lot more gradual, at least in my experience! Just remember it’s the end results that make it so worth it! You got this!

Change your trays at night! That way you get use to the new set while you sleep. First few trays are definitely an adjustment but you get us to it. Tylenol definitely helps too!

I had Invisalign and it was rough for sure! Switch them at night so the majority of the pain happens over night! And buy those whisp toothbrushes for when you’re out and about and need to brush before putting your trays back in! Don’t be afraid to give yourself breaks! I didn’t wear the sleep retainer they gave me after I was done and my teeth shifted back :/ so wear that once it’s all over!! And see if they’ll give you a permanent retainer on the top and bottom instead of just the bottom like they usually do! I wish they gave me a top permanent retainer!

Hi Rach! I usually don't comment much, but I just wanna say, I love how much you are in touch with your style. I just got out of college this past spring and feel like I need a full on closet clean-out and wardrobe change. Bring petite/short has brought it's difficulties with clothes, but like I really want to become more comfortable with like trying new clothes and getting out of my comfort zone since I am typically just a sporty, athletic wear girl...let me know if you have any tips for this. Like I said, you inspire me so much with all this and I am so grateful to have found your channel! Congrats on your new pup Rue!

I had invisalign and I’ve worked in a dentist office for 3 years! We always have our patients “chewies” which is basically a little teething toy to bite on and promote blood flow to the teeth and helps the pain subside faster, you can try a baby teething toy or a silicone straw

The first trays are the worst for pain but it gets better! There will be a bit of discomfort every time you get new trays bc they’re shifting your teeth, but after a couple days they’ll feel more comfortable. If it hurts really bad maybe take an Advil, that helped for me. I had Invisalign for about 2 years and it was a process but so worth it!

The first trays in Invisalign are definitely the hardest ones. If you wear your trays consistently, it won’t hurt as you go on. I’ve had a few trays hurt here and there just from moving so quick but I’d change them before bed and sometimes take Advil but that’s if I was bad about my trays lol. You’ll get there!
@oliviayoung85562 жыл бұрын
When you switch to a new set, change them at night before you go to bed, it helps with the pain! Also, I didn’t not take them out when I drank my iced coffee because I like to enjoy it not rush it ( my aligners were fine )
@lexiperry36052 жыл бұрын
I had Invisalign for 4 months to fix slight gaps/moving like you and it was so worth it!! The pain from the first tray was definitely the worst - it also gets better as you continue on in your trays. I used to drink my coffee with my trays in through a straw, but just made sure to brush my teeth and wash out my trays after! Also you’ll be talking like normal in no time 😊
@dawnkulan45142 жыл бұрын
I’m a hygienist Each time you get a new set of aligners, the first 48 hours are always the worst and then after that it will get much better. I usually tell people put them in in the evening before bed and take 2 or 3 ibuprofen. It helps A LOT. You’ll get used to talking with them in no time and people will not notice unless they are dental professionals. good luck girl!

I just finished my invisalign earlier this year and I wore them for one year. I had no pain at all! Yes they were a little tight when I'd change the tray each week but I was never in pain. My orthodontist said you should never be in pain. You could take some Tylenol but you really shouldn't have that much pain. If it doesn't get better. Please speak to your orthodontist.

I had Invisalign twice (my teeth hate me) but the first week was the worst. I took Advil almost daily until the pain stopped. Overall, about a week! I have no issues now. The lisp will disappear once your mouth gets used to them :). Beauty is pain but the end result is worth it!! Keep up with it

I'm new on the Invisalign journey too!! I found the first 2 days were the worst but then I got used to them (also I took Tylenol extra strength every 4 hours RELIGIOUSLY lol). the pain that I had with invisalign was so bad that I actually switched to metal braces after months of trying to be consistent with invisalign. I ended up taking advil a lot as it helped with the inflammation and headaches, and then I loved rinsing with hot water as it soothed my teeth. use some peppermint essential oil on your jaw bone as well for any jaw pain. good luck girl!!! you can do this

i had invisalign for about a year and a half and the experience was so great! there was always some pain when the first trays were in, but would subside over a day or two. the only thing is i would never eat or drink anything (but water) with them in, because coffee of teas can get in between the invisalign and the teeth and stain them. i ended up buying whitening kits and whitened my teeth when i was finished!!! good luck girl :)

Rachel, I think you put the air filter in wrong? When you removed the old one, the arrow on the side was facing towards you. You inserted the new one with the arrow facing inwards? Not sure if that will affect the purpose of the air filter though? Just a heads up (:

I'm a couple months into invisalign. It is definitely an adjustment but the lisp goes away in about a week and my teeth hurt THE WORST for the first week and then they got used to it and only felt tight when I would put a new tray in. Love that you're going through it right now too because I felt so weird with it at first and freaked out.

I have Invisalign too! I had braces when I was in middle school but just never wore my retainer and my teeth shifted a little. I have 20 trays too, but mine are for 2 weeks each. I feel like you said the first day or 2 of the new tray hurt (I just took my new one out to eat lunch and oww lol). I don’t have anything really to help with the pain besides Advil which I wouldn’t want to get into the habit of. I’m 16/20 and should be done by the end of November. The lisp I feel like I still have now a little bit. Hope you’re having a nice day and adjusting to them now 🤍

I just finished my Invisalign after 2 1/2 years! And mine was just to fix a posterior open bite, my teeth were pretty straight. Definitely take some advil and the soreness will pass! girl!!!! I have invisalign and im on week 18 right now only a few weeks left! But honestly, the first 2-3 weeks are pretty rough I would say suck on some ice cubes and make sure you change the trays before you go to sleep. I just take an Advil and im usually good! Once you get deeper in the trays you will have certain teeth that hurt and that are moving- Just recommend drinking ice water and sucking on ice cubes. It will be okay just wait until the trays get thicker because the dentist doesn't warn you about that :( I personally wear mine for 20 ish hours! Obvi going to dinner and going out you don't really want to wear them when your doing both and having to take them in and out.

You will get used to the pain in your teeth after the first few trays, but what hurt the worst is how much they cut up your mouth in the first month or so. Your mouth will eventually adjust to all the cuts but it’s definitely not fun the first few trays. They do make mouth wash to help heal the cuts and that will help! My lisp lasted only like a few weeks, I just had to learn how to talk with them in and I was good. You will get used to it all, but good luck ♥️
