Not sure in terms of fullness, but when it comes to conditioning, current Mr Os would be considered incomplete in the 90s.

i was at San Diego just a few week ago and its cool to see some of the machines are still on the same place like 1996. A few things changed like the name of the gym (now THE GYM) and the colors of the walls - but still untill today (2024) this gym has an amazing atmosphere! One of the best gyms in the world!

95 96 97 best versions of nasser, 98 it was all down hill from there, synthol use in his delts became very clear, 99 placed out of top 5, 2002 didnt even make top 6.
@jldp243 жыл бұрын
Yes his receptors were torched. It happens to all.of.them.
@rawintensity81413 жыл бұрын
@@jldp24 wrong, there is nothing like that. Look at dexter, competed from 99 to 2021, his physique hasn't changed much, infact his muscle maturity is off the charts, the problem with nasser was he was competing at a bodyweight which was too heavy for him, 245 was his contest weight, he started to come in at 265, 268, his heaviest was 274 i believe, totally blew his physique away, also he abused insulin a lot, offseason weighing in at 310, he screwed his physique playing the size game.
@jldp243 жыл бұрын
@@rawintensity8141 well yeah..he also didnt respond.anymore. Milos made mention of this. Listen to Milos about Nasser. Even if Nasser won thr Ac99 he still lost his proportions with the size game..his legs dropped and with width. Torching receptors is a thing. But you right.on your points
@GabrielOlympic Жыл бұрын
@@rawintensity8141 There comes a time when the body no longer reacts to any dose no matter how much you increase it... 1996 was the pinnacle of the Nasser, excellent size, proportion and quality... After 1997, as you said, he wanted to get too big, that title stolen from him messed with him a lot, unfortunately you can understand, after he separated from his wife he ran out of money to prepare like the other years before, nobody knows about that... Then he was forced to start using spots on the biceps and deltoids, which ended up with his physique unfortunately... He himself said that he regretted having used Synthol...

As a massive Nasser fan, you can tell after 1997 his training intensity decreased. He's lifting really heavy here and looks peeled, 98 and onward he seems less serious or something. I think the 1997 Mr. O really messed with him.

It had to mess with his mind to lose in 97. All indicators show he could have won, so I’m sure he was defeated in his mind as well…

There’s a video on KZbin where Dorian is shown pictures of him and Nasser at the ‘97 Olympia. Dorian basically agrees, Nasser beat him that year
@levanmuradashvili29212 жыл бұрын
Dorian never agrees that. He himself explained very well how he defeated Nasser in 97. It's about simple math. Poses and rounds count not certain muscles or stomach alone

This is too funny...there is a clip of Jay circulating on utube where Jay says that 3wks prior to a '95 show Nasser ate 3 slices of cheesecake and then the next day was on the bike for 2-3 hours and ultimately got 3rd place in the contest...this video, presumably in the following year Nasser says that some competitors don't know how to diet and he gives an example of some who eat cheesecake pre-contest....given his dry sense of humor i am assuming he is talking about him self...or he completely lacks self awareness

Ofc he had weaknesses..but structurally he he had the look. Weak tris..andslightly weak back..other than that.. top tier.
