Your reaction was very insightful, as always. I love your honesty. This song's performance meant a lot to Dimash, not only because of the story behind it , but because as you saw, he comes from a very closely kniit family, very traditional with incredible family values. And as Dimash said in that small interview part, when he first heard the song when he was 10 y/o he was shaking, I can only think because he put himself in the child's shoes and it must've been unthinkable for him if something like that happened. He wanted to deliver all the pain and helplesness of losing your parents and being left alone in this world , just like that, still not being able to defend yourself. When I first watched it, it broke my heart, my chest was hurting. Dimash is very special. Thank you again and enjoy your journey!

For me, this is your best reaction on Dimash until now. Thanks God to give us you also. There is another video showing Dimash when he comes to the back stage and he picks up his throat because he has big pain. He's a real professional. It was a competition and Dimash is not used to lose. He sacrifices himself one hundred percent for every performance because he does not want to disappoint anyone. Thank you for reaction Dear Jang. Hi! Thanks for this and for choosing Glorias video, it was important in this performance I think to know the background. The flu influenced Dimash voice so that in the next episodes he could not do all the notes he wanted, but did amazing still! Ep 10 unforgettable day he did not reach the high note he does in that song, in Gakku consert he reached D8! And Diva dance im Bastau he could deliver that song perfectly!

This was a very emotional song for Dimash. Go back and watch how he is at the end of the song. Quite different from how he reacts at the end of his other performances. Dimash and Han Hong became very good friends and he appeared on a "Come Sing With Me" show where she is a host. Their relationship is so sweet. She claims him as her son and Dimash claims her as his mama!!!

Yay - hi Jang dear :) ...you sing very well, even when you are voiceless! You can see a little discomfort in D's face but - as you said - I think he actually used the pain to augment the emotion of the performance. I am reminded of the funny story about Viggo Mortensen during the filming of Lord of the Rings - the script call for him to kick something and scream in anguish - the take they used was amazing - he kicked and then (not in the script) fell to his knees and let out a howl of anguish. What nobody realized was, on that kick, he broke his toe. But like Dimash, a true professional, he converted that pain into making his acting more real.

The competitor in red and white is Jason Zhang, and yes, he is very good, indeed. The completion began with seven singers. Dimash was one of them. After the first two performances, the last place singer lost his place in the completion. On week three, two more competitors were added. One of them was Jason Zhang. Of the male singers to compete, my favorites (not counting the Lion Band, which was a rock group, and not alone singer) were Terry Lin, Ji Lian and Jason. If you wish to expand your reacting repertoire, I can recommend all three. None are at Dimash's of excellence, yet I dearly wish that each and every one of them decide to visit the United States to perform. Not only would I buy tickets to see them, I'd fly anywhere on the East Coast/Midwest areas to make it happen. (For Dimash, the furthest I'm willing to travel is Jupiter. Uranus is completely out of the question. Myanus is even more out of the question.)

In fact, she is one of our group moderators, but doesn't she do an awesome job providing some background info and then providing an English translation for the lyrics? Especially when the back story is as emotionally charged as this song! The way the other contestants rallied around Dimash knowing he was having medical challenges is another important aspect of this performance as well. Jang Amparna when u lost your voice, doctor advised u to rest it for 3 months but Dimash couldn't even rest his voice for 3 days. In between his match days he has to fly to event venues at different cities to perform n fly back for the match while still having sore throats. He even flew to France to perform between episode 8 n 9. He was said to hv 4 steroid jabs into his throats during then in order to perform n his fans were so worried abt the side effects of the injection. Fortunately, he is ok right now.

Jang, you understand what many people fail to do - the reason for Dimash's high notes. He always says that just because you can, doesn't mean you should. However, it's there if you want to emphasise something. A huge shout-out to our darling Gloria Wu who is bringing us so much more of the backstory. Hi Jang, I don't remember if I responded to this before it was so long ago. Your reactions to Dimash's videos are always brilliant you capture everything and yes losing your is very scary. I would imagine that a singer losing their voice would be like losing their identity. Here's hoping that that never happens to Dimash or to you. The guy in the striped shirt is Zhang Jie, also known as Jason Zhang. He is a Chinese pop singer in his mid 30's that won a singing competition in the early 2000's. He has a beautiful voice and yes, he was also a contestant in The Singer 2017. But his voice doesn't even compare to Dimash's voice. partida pa yan ha wala syang boses a day before the competition. but comparing it to his previous performances we can definitely hear that his voice is not in good condition and may parts na he was struggling. I can only imagine how this song would sound if his voice was in good condition. still he was able give a great performance.

I ever lost my voice too just a night before competition.... I went to doc and gave me injection, but sadly my voice broken when i tried to hit the high note... And made me at the 4th position.... Soooo sadlyyy.... Btw...i Like ur comment and reaction U funny, humble and have nice voice too Salam frm indonesia
