Nassfeld - skiing on the excellent slopes of the largest ski resort in Carinthia

We skied in Nassfeld, the largest ski resort in Carinthia and, according to many, one of the 10 best ski resorts in Austria. Nassfeld offers 110 kilometers of well-prepared trails, well-sunned and with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. There are enough restaurants along the trails, so you won't be hungry or thirsty.
During our stay, temperatures were very low, during the day from -5°C to -10°C. We found out if beer freezes at -5°C.
Nassfeld has a lot of accommodation facilities along the track itself. We stayed at the Arena Franz Ferdinand Hotel, which is located next to the starting station of the Millennium Express gondola that takes skiers to the top of the ski resort. Excellent hotel with excellent food, highly recommended. A special feature of the hotel is that skis are kept in the room in a special room that is also intended for storing bicycles. From the reception to the room and vice versa can be reached by bicycle, for which there is a special path that leads to the last floor of the hotel.
