We took Nasta for my sister and her New Family!
We took loads of Bengali traditional pitta’s and breakfast snacks.
Fish cutting (Maas Khata) is a Sylheti tradition where the new bride cuts a fish.
Don’t ask me why they do it, Lol!

Lol, I had to do that Bangladesh fish cutting when I got married in Bangladesh, never cut fish in my whole life especially on the 'da'....but it was tradition to do it. But the only thing I would have done here was to move the cake away from the fish, cross-contamination and all that....I kept thinking that fish was way too close to the cake. Northampton, thats not too far from us, about an hour away. But congrats to your sister for her wedding.
