Good video Bara. Cicadas can be pretty deadly, but the deadliest actual light 'mechs I've seen are usually the Hero Locust Pirates Bane and the Flea. 😄

Have you played a bit with those new x-pulses? I am still figuring out how to best use them (appart from the obvious 'point them toward ennemy and play christmas songs'). Great video, so nice to see the daily dose again!

Their defining characteristics seem to be effectively permanent uptime, high heat generation and excellent DPS. Even particularly cool builds struggle to manage their heat with these things, which tells me you want them on a fast harasser or knife fighter. Builds that can either end a fight quickly or escape when their heat gets too high would probably be ideal.

They'll do decent damages if the ennemy ignores you, and if not, they have a rather good distruptive power as people under constent fire tend to panic. But having to keep the face toward the target is an issue when you are trying to dodge.

hey keep the binary laser on its own fire gruop you have to magane its carging due to it needs to have its fire trigger hold down to up its out put. any binary laser user in mechwarror needs to keep the binary laser on its own fire group that needs to be managed for power and heat mangament. the longer you hold down the binaner laser trigger the much more output and heat it makes. it sames no one have figured out the bineary lasers gimick yet. i find that funny.

also mech warror still using stock sci fi weapon noises. the bianry laser is using a realy realy old stocuk sci fi laser noise that bascly i reconise from the old days of the internet back in like early pre 2020's internet 2000's audio sounds.

You can see in the bottom right that he does have the binary laser in its own weapon group. He just fires it in tandem with the medium lasers because that usually does the most damage

I don't know If you've ever played MWO but 'Holding down' the laser isn't possible, you hit the button and the weapon shoots. then cycles.

His perspective is high off the ground so he looks like he's going slower than he actually is. The same speed feels a lot faster in a shorter mech.
