I found Mike finally on a tech plan run last night...went thru the 3 towns on the left side of the map and found him in the town far left, between the 2 caves on the map. He DOES fit on the ATV lol, brought him back and the new Antibiotics do not need Fish oil, got his house built, him cured and the townhall and chests all set up...and damn, I forget how much of a HUGE difference he makes...watering my plants and filled all my log stands quickly. He disappeared once and like the dev said I reloaded my game after a save and he was back

Looking forward to seeing a bit of fishing, I haven't seen it except for the little bit you did in the beginning. Don't forget if you build the greenhouse on the ground and don't have the waterhouse yet you can use snow to water the plants inside the greenhouse. Had a blast watching, thanks for sharing the fun!

just a thought but if you put a chest on each side of the greenhouse door it may help you line it back up when you put it back in place

Not sure which game it was, but there was a function "move all of the same kind". Imagine, instead of clicking hundred times, just moving all iron fragments with one click (holding certain button). Applicable for filling crates, filling furnaces (devices), picking up items, emptying boxes, etc... I believe that it is very useful and often needed function - how often do you need to put away all aluminum, take all rocks, fill something with a specific product...

Too bad the greenhouse doesn't have and open/shut option, so in summer, as well as warmer parts of spring and fall, you could "open" the windows over the growing beds would allow rainwater in, but in colder periods you can shut them to keep the heat in. Or when you get some warning a storm is coming - run out and open the windows and then close them when the storm passes. Would achieve the same as moving the greenhouse on and off but with a lot less issues.

A warhorn does sound cool, but It would also be cool if you could go out and take out the enemy campsites that spawn when the level hits 5, and have that reset the noise and light values. It's more work, cuz it's usually 3-4 campsites and it would require you to have to look for the campsites which may take awhile. I think this offsets the raid in a balanced way.

From my experiences moving the greenhouse. Don't crowd it too much - leave at least half a box area around the edges. Otherwise, once you move it off it's pretty tough to get it to turn green when trying to replace it over crops.😬

a few things i think we need in this are batteries that can last the night and a menu on the extractors that allows us to extract only what we want. I would just expand the extract only part to include whats available in the area with stuff like iron fragments and stone taking less time than the main ores. You do have to be careful as sometimes the auto-agro wont make a sound and you can get blindsided it has happened to me twice so far.

I miss the No One Survived videos! But I'm enjoying the Infected. I almost started playing again but the enemies after the update is just down right stupid in my opinion. He has a TON of work to do to get me excited about this game again.

if you pick-up an storage chest you can take it with you on the quad to loot more stuff, just make sure it is empty though, then bring it back to your base.

if you kill his buddies the mini boss will run off, unless dev changed that in all the patches that have come out...but last i saw if you kill the cronies first then big guy runs off

Maybe you can drive the quad out to their campfire and lead them back to base?

Tips for new people. Bosses are impossible to hit with range once they get a certain distance to you if you are going to take them down with range you need to do it while they are a certain distance away otherwise melee is your best option

The iron spikes seem to expensive to use like that, I'd say just a few layers of regular spikes and a wall behind them would be better since you wouldn't be wasting iron. This is definitely unbalanced.

Not sure why you don't bring the saw mill to where you are building?!? You had so many logs on the ground you could have loaded it up while doing setting everything else instead of making multiple trips for the planks.

If that wasn't a glitch, then it's a BS move by the dev. I know he's still figuring out things, tweaking settings, etc. but giving an enemy auto-dodge is lame.

These fights seem so chaotic. There is absolutely no flow to the battles. Just stand and poke your spear until either they die or you do. Instead of these nonsense enemies this game should go the way of the game Icarus and have a storm destroy your base.🤔
