Amazing! Bob Dylan may have said that "No one sings the blues like Blind Willie McTell", but Big Bill Broonzy gives him a run for his money. I loved this. The atmospheric camera shots in that smokey Belgian bar were just the right side of cheesy. A wonderful historical document. Thanks for posting it.

There was a time, way back when 20s & 30s when Big Bill was as big a blues star as a person could be great singer, guitarist and songwriter. Inspiration to Clapton..wrote Key to the Highway. One of the best there ever was

Rolling on the guitar was popularized in England , Europe and Us, by William Lee Conley Broonzey although so many invented it. Ringo Starr has always mentioned his influence and others around the world. Another ambassador of love. BOGEN GOSPODJE.
