Hi ! Maybe you can help me, I'm in love with this technology and the sounds you can get with nothing else than your inspiration and a few instruments... I would like to create music just with piano / voice, like you (I played piano for 20 years, so it won't be the most difficult part of my goal) . How far can you go with your devices ? What do you advise for me since I have never touched those tools ? Is it difficult to use ? How long did you wait for being at ease ? I would really like to read about your experience ! :-)

I am using a basic set up: a microphone, an electronic piano, a 5 tracks loop station and a vocal effect for harmonies (and a computer for recording). For now, it's a work in progress. I am still learning. The electronic piano I use, has a powerful built-in sound creator, so I am using many other sounds, than only classic piano. You can visit my channel and see by yourself. The limit is only your imagination. If I would like to update my set up, it would be with an analogue bass synthesizer and a sampler for beats. One advise I can give you would be: first try to play with what you've got already. And then if you like it and you master it, go for other devices. That way, naturally you will know, what do you need next. I have started with only a condenser mic, a jack input (for guitar) and a computer. Everything is difficult at first, but then if you practice, it becomes easy. And if it becomes easy, it does not mean that the work is done, but it means that, at this point, you can go further ;) Usually, it takes me few weeks or even a month to practice a song.
