Listening to this song i was thinking of the Christmas truce in 1914, those young lads some under the age of 15 just fighting, No peace hardly any rest but then the German troops started singing Christmas carols the British did the same and for one day the men could gather and celebrate the birth of the king of king's. Giving each other gifts of candy cigarettes ect, and even playing football, how great it must have been to in the bloody mess of such a huge war the men saw in each other a friend just like you and i, with the war in 🇺🇦 and in the middle east and potentially a 3erd world war, we must pray to jesus that it shall not happen
