I am from Boston, Massachusetts and myself as well as my family are always ready to fight and on go. I think the mars opposite ascendant has gotten me through rough times such as high school, developing my "street smarts" and my ability to assert myself. Showing up in an aggressive stance is how I protect myself and show that I can't be outsmarted because I'm the one in authority. I've found a lot of people that try to over-power me and walk all over me. They see me as threatening and intimidating. However I'm learning this aspect is not great for business or companionship. I have a strong need for independence but lack communication and assertion skills. Instead of telling someone "I'd appreciate if you took the trash out...its one of my love languages" adding some humor and suave in there, I'm quick to cuss them out for not doing so, and distance and separate myself. I think if you want more harmony and for people to work with you, listen to you, etc. you gotta be willing to mellow yourself down, meet people where they are at instead of having a dictatorship approach. The ladder makes people respect and fear you but not like you. Secret animosity in friendships. Especially with less assertive signs like Libras.

Great evaluation, resonated with every second, for better or worse. However when it came to the portion of "attracting conflicting relationships" it felt off center for me, until it came to the bit where you discussed that people with this placement subconsciously "enable" or gravitate towards belligerent people. So thus it's all clicked, because of my Leo ASC opp. Mars in Aquarius, 0° Moon in Libra with 11° Jupiter and 22° Ketu in Libra, Rahu in Aries and 5° Mercury in Aries opp. both Jupiter and Moon, i've come to realize that I ultimately desire to be challenged mentally, physically, and emotionally by others and to assert myself independently in a humanitarian, consciousness expanding fashion, but sacrificing all of the harmony i've previously cultivated and yearn to cultivate always seems so difficult to balance while simultaneously knowing I need to outgrow degrading co-dependencies so I can make room to explore my own identity outside of being a sworn mediator or resolutionist to insignificant bouts and instead strive towards something more assertively yet humbly devotional. I'm always ready for battle...if you stay ready you don't have to get ready .... is my philosophy. However I also have learned that whatever energy I project is what will be returned and I also have Venus trine ascendant so I can turn it on and off at will. So you can get this Venus or you can get this Mars...you make the choice. And choose wisely.

I am a Scorpio rising. Often people see me observing them and assume I know more about them then I do. This can lead to people saying I called them a name or think something about them that I don't. They argue with a me they make up in their own head, but take it out in me in real life. This is why I am careful. I text or email such people and if they say I insulted them or told them something I never did, I point to the message. That usually stops them. Of course, somebody always has to cross me to build up their ego again. At that point I walk away. Unless I see a summons or a warrant, we have no further business.

Mars conjunct my Aries descendant opposite Libra rising. One of my cooping mechanism is just to stay silent 😂 which made the problem even worse because I have mars in taurus and if I keep building up my anger I know the explosion is going to be nasty. So I think here the whole mindset should be changed to view things with more detachment and take things less personally

I have Aquarius Mars opposite Leo Ascendant and I gotten into fights and arguments with others and learning to be a fighter that never gives up, and all so very sex appeal and attraction.

recently i met a girl with this placement, she was very hostile very soon, especiallly if she was not taking what she wanted, Mars is our will and from my experience i would say that an afflicted Mars gives a very self rigteous person that gets agressive , another thing is that the Asc is lets say oour projected aura.... an afflicted Asc can give a very repeling aura, for eg a Sagitarrius aura a Leo aura is very appeling to the masses

I have this as an aries rising, sun and mercury with a libra mars, saturn and pluto...can definitely make for some interesting interactions. Considering mars is my ruling planet it makes it extra intense.

Ahhh this makes so much sense. Because I never related to Virgo Rising descriptions of being tall and slender and kind of studious looking. I have Pisces Mars opposite Virgo Ascendant and I read the description of Aries Rising appearance and yes I have a big head with a stocky muscular body and broad shoulders. Much more Aries Rising looking than Virgo Rising for sure.

(Gemini Sun, Venus, Mercury) (Pisces Moon) Gemini Mars Square Pisces Ascendent with all that stuff above in those houses too… it’s rough as hell… kudos to whoever else is handling this in this life time, life is literally war everyday with my 0 degree square and fights literally find their way straight to me so frustrating.
