Love, love, love ❤️ This is traditional Mexican music. The song basically says: "I usually sing my sorrows and my joys. I love singing so much, that when my time comes, I want to die singing, just like a cicada." A cicada is a little insect that starts singing when it's about to die. Everyone who sings this song needs to sing it that way, with those long, high, strong vocals. Excellent choice. I really love that you're delving deeper into our culture. I would translate it or the meaning like this, "there is no darker color than the color of my sorrow but even so I will die like the Cicada, singing because life is too short and even if it is hard you have to keep on singing". Cicadas die during the summer usually when you hear them singing you know the summer is over and they will die because they can't survive the cold nights...

I would translate it or the meaning like that, "there is no color darker than the color of my pain but I will still die like the cicada, singing because life is very short and even if it is difficult you have to keep singing". Cicadas die during the summer, usually when you hear them sing, you know that summer is over and they will die because they cannot survive the cold nights. it is figuratively. Y gracias por tus comentarios y si esta canción es cultura habla de un marinero que deja un amor en cada puerto y que como las cigarras ba a morir cantando para transformar su dolor aun que muera por el mismo dolor que le provoca su marinero. Lo traduciría o el significado así, "no hay color más oscuro que el color de mi dolor pero aun así moriré como la cigarra, cantando porque la vida es muy corta y aunque sea difícil hay que seguir cantando ".
