@vanillabean Storyline: Esmeralda saves Gringoire, the poet from being killed. They become friends. The priest Frollo is mad about Esmeralda and attempts to abduct her. Phoebus saves Esmeralda and they fall in love. At Fleur's betrothal party, Esmeralda realises Phoebus is promised to Fleur. When Esmeralda leaves, Phoebus rushes after her. Jealous Frollo stabs Phoebus, but Esmeralda is accused of the crime and sentenced to death. Phoebus arrives and Esmeralda is saved. They promise eternal love.
