Pita is very easy to prepare and is a lifesaver for mothers) an excellent lunch for a schoolchild, personally tested for more than one year, I recommend it with all my heart!
Recipe:
- flour 350 gr. (- + 10-20 gr.)
- salt 1 tsp. no slide.
- water 200 ml. hot, not boiling water.
- vegetable oil 2 tbsp,
Knead the dough well for 5-6 minutes, the dough should rest in a bag or film for 20-30 minutes. In order for the pita to inflate, you need to turn it over several times from one side to the other. I store the flatbreads in a bag in the refrigerator.
For the filling I use:
- iceberg lettuce
- carrot
- parsley or cilantro
- mayonnaise
- chicken steak
