So fabulous. I live how you don't worry about running threads to the center of the block, or how you use the seam lines to travel from one section to another. I guess I need to stop worrying about that and stop breaking threads. Thank you for sharing. I learned something. 🤗

It's beautiful, I am new to machine quilting. I have an older Gammil 22" machine, and have bever tried ruler work. I think I would like to try it. I have about a dozen of my own quilt tops that I'm planning to use as practice pieces. Previously , I have done 2 for clients , freehand. She was happy with them , I've been happy with the ones I've done of my own, but I can't stop thinking about trying ruler work. I am glad I found your KZbin and your other site.

I appreciate seeing how you accomplished the quilting without stopping and starting. I also appreciated learning to place a diagonal reference line between the arches to guide your diagonal quilting at the ends of the arches. Thank you so much for this learning opportunity!

Wow! Another excellent video. Thank you for giving a glimpse into how you come up with your quilt designs. Explaining how you develop a design and then audition your rulers is very helpful. I love watching you quilt and I keep learning more with each of your videos. It is very kind of you to provide free insight into your quilting methods along with your Patreon classes. ( my family knows exactly what I want for my birthday, so I will be a subscriber soon😊). Hearing how much you love quilting is very inspirational too.

What is the name of your ruler foot for the Gammill? Is it made for the Gammill?
Love watching you quilt and you explain it so well. Would love to try this on a same quilt, can’t find this pattern. Do you happen to know what the Quilt pattern is called? Thx.

There are so many beautiful fabric panels being produced,,could you demonstrate what to quilt on them? I tend to outline the figures in the panel which can get pretty boring.

Hello! I am so happy to have found your wonderful videos. I'm binge watching all of them. I'm new to longarm quilting and I am curious on how long it takes to get over the neck, arm, and low back pain when starting out. I just got my machine up Friday and did some practice quilting on an old quilt top and my low back and wrists are just killing me. I couldn't imaging doing all this ruler work leaning over to see it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
@happytraveller89534 жыл бұрын
I am starting to binge-watch your videos--a bit late to the party (sorry!!!). I may have asked this on an earlier post, but can this type of quilting be done on a regular domestic machine (Bernina 790) and without rulers?? My FMQ is rubbish and I am fretting over the ability to get results as precise or as consistent as what is shown here. Thanks in advance. Happy holidays!

Thanks for the sneak peek at your Patreon style. I have been thinking of subscribing but wasn’t sure. This helped. Not sure I completely understand the different levels and how the videos are different at each level. How would this video fit into the levels? Thanks!
@NataliaBonner5 жыл бұрын
The videos are all very similar to this, generally a bit longer. You're just gaining access to more videos at each level. The "lens" clips are behind the scenes clips, tips and sneak peaks that just live on Patreon for 24 hours. You also gain access to all past videos at your level when you join. 😘
