This song is pretty catchy. What I don't understand is how she can bash someone for not being original. Nothing is original; everything is inspired by something else. That's what makes humans great. If it wasn't for inspiration, we wouldn't have smartphones, WiFi, and indoor plumbing.
@LadyCoyKoi3 жыл бұрын
She criticizes unoriginality... i.e. direct copy of a copy, being boredom itself, uncreative and unimaginative... that is what she discusses. She criticizes mass production and the mind-set of hypermaterialism and hyper consumerism which steals peoples' ability to take something inspiring and make something new of out of it. Smartphones got its idea from somewhere, but it is still was an innovative new idea back in 2005/2008 when it was revolutionized by Steve Jobs. He got the idea from somewhere, but it is one thing to get inspired and a whole other to copy or plagiarizing something. Ms. Kills criticizes plagiarism and copy cats.

it's a kind of funny thing actually. The video sees the totalitarian environment where men keeping women preoccupied with cupcakes, fairytale (rabbit mask could allude to Alice In Wonderland) and consumerism (Feasting) and when one woman stands up to express her dislike she get executed, by men.

I don't think it's a feminist statement or about gender. I agree with some of what you said, but think it's a statement about society, not gender. I think it's one *person* standing up to *society,* rather than _men_ & she happens to be a woman. The other women prisoners, at the start, represent *her* & are styled like *her* with similar hair. They represent *her,* not _women._ It's about *her* & people like her, rather than _women._ In real life, more men work in security than women, therefore it's not surprising the security guards are men & the other prisoners are women (they represent Natalia Kills and her attitude). People interpret things differently & I believe what they wanna believe. I think you *want* this to be about feminism, so will see it that way.

So instead of a Queen of Hearts who wants all the rule of Wonderland. It's the corrupted King of hearts and his soldiers of Spades.

Most problems are people problems. SJW'ing issues doesn't solve them, but it will create another rift and more victims, especially done on someone else's behalf.

As a child of Political Refugees, this music video speaks volumes in its social commentary about class structure and suppressive regimes. Such a shame her dark talents and symbolism are so lost and wasted due to mainstream media obsessed with cuties and other demented values to trivialize the horrors of what people are actually going through on a daily basis.

*Its the fact that people hate her... She is so good at singing... My favorite songs by her are Devils Don't Fly & this song. For a few months a few years ago, I heard this song, but just never found out who wrote it. Natalia Kills is a really good singer, but if I'm being COMPLETELY honest, this video doesn't fit with Wonderland...* *This video would be perfect if the title of the song was Confidence. It would fit because she was confident in trying to escape from them, but it was an awful fail, and she ended up getting killed in the end of the video.* 😶✋
