DIY Tutorial: How to make a Gnome from yarn and a sleeve yourself.
For making I used:
Cardboard sleeve from toilet paper,
Yarn 3 colors,
hot glue,
nose bead,
-Buttons,
-Comb.
This cozy Scandinavian Gnome is a great idea for a Christmas craft. You can put sweets or a souvenir inside, then you get a great New Year's gift made by yourself.

So, for the English folks… this is awesome. Keep in mind though, that she is a very experienced crafter. You will not be able to make this gnome as well, or in as short a time as she can, unless you are equally as experienced. This is not nearly as easy as it looks. Lovely to watch, though.

These are adorable and they should not take much time to make - as long as I have all I need in front of me before I start. You have made my Christmas special gifts for the assisted living where my mam lives. They care for her so much and I wanted to make something different for them, there is 40 members of kind staff. Your idea of putting something inside is a great idea, as I can then make them individually for each of them.
