Natalie Kalmus TV Model 421VK: Repair and Testing

Managed to acquire a 21" set with little known history, as the Natalie Kalmus Television company only existed for a couple of years. The chassis was simple and easy to work on, although the set as a whole does not appear to be very high quality.
Had to blur out some copywritten material at the end, unfortunately.

Really a pleasure to watch the first real Natalie Kalmus seen . Never knew any were left and only a few are left but in collectors homes no way to see, I really like watching the video and nice collection too.

Thanks! A friend of mine saw the Blonde version of this set for sale out at the Early Television Foundation in Ohio last year. Apparently that example had a Muntz chassis in it. I have seen one or two others on old forum posts, not sure where they are now.

Be glad you've got one with the Jackson chassis. Muntz television had a controversial history. Allegations were, they would have their sales rep come to a potential customer's home with a super set and then sell them a "bare-bones" television with very poor performance.

I would honestly just like to have a Muntz for my collection just due to the history. I've only seen one example in person, and it was missing too much to worth buying.
