With all to respect, no body art and tattoos, just a beautiful natural talented lady. Great Musician.

A number of years ago, Natalie appeared at the Winnipeg Folk Fest before she was known by anyone outside of Atlantic Canada. There were 5 or 6 daytime stages then, and my wife and I split up to check out different acts. I was (am) a fiddling fan so I thought I would see this fiddling workshop. After I saw Nat do her thing, I sought out my wife and said "You've got to see this fantastic young woman!". We caught her later in another workshop and were completely mesmerized. Still are. Wonderful.

This is just so outrageously sick! Natalie you're my hero! Can't believe the audience is seated and clapping calmly, I'd be dancing my face off. Yowza!

I found my homemade VCD of a Natalie MacMaster special that aired on Bravo in 2003...and if you like good fluting and fiddling I recommend the Irish band Grada.

Aye. Don't underestimate the sheer talent of this lassie nor that of piper Mat MacIsaac who I think has well surpassed Alex Currie as a stepdance piper as far as technique. And, don't understimate you own ability to play well enough as do many other fiddler in Cape Breton.

Why is she wearing 4 bodypacks? I can account for 3 of them (violin pickup, IEM, and mic for her tapshoes), but I can't figure out the 4th...
