Haunting voice, and beautiful told from the 3rd person instead of the 1st: like a neutral observer watching a relationship they can't explain... Just she's got a way. Love this.

Love that voice! She should still have hits on the radio. So much better than most of the stuff being played now.

Too many armchair critics,not enough listening to the song and enjoying it. Pinheads all around.
@PaulJames6109 жыл бұрын
Natalie has a great voice which I love. The song would have been so much better if she sang it in first person like the song is. Better if Natalie sang "He's got a way " or sang the song with the original words as if she is singing to a woman. The third person variant is awkward. There are many "I's" in the song and she had to change them to "he". It is a song about the wonder of great love; much of the intended intimate feeling is taken away.

I love her singing. Absolutely despise her hair style. Why??? Seriously!! Why??

She's good and everything but to me it always sounds like she's singing the same thing almost like Darius Rucker.

this dixie chick should've spent less time on her hairdo & more time learning all the chords to the song....

Nice haircut, NATALIE! *guffaw* Hillary might be available now that she has suffered her richly deserved, crushing defeat, and can burst out of the closet without consequence. Not that there's anything wrong with that.....

I've been a fan of Natalie from the beginning though I do believe that she destroyed the Dixie Chicks with her comment about Bush. This was NOT her finest moment. I did'nt think she had any emotional connection to the song. She just changed the melody around a little bit. Sang from the head and not from the heart.
@amazed668 жыл бұрын
Er no, she didn't destroy Dixie Chcks with her comment about Bush (which incidentally is looking fairly bang on these days) and it was others who destroyed Dixie Chicks because of her comments about Bush. I was there that day in London too and her comments received a good reception.
