I started learning violin last fall, and just this weekend began the attempt at this song. The deepest note suggests the whole thing would sound better on a viola, but i just went up a key. “Wild and shocked applause” is very satisfying, but i need to reign myself in for the ending, as i feel like the intensity calls for a higher pitch, but it definitely feels disjointed. Probably just need more juice on the same notes

That’s the 1st time (link above) she performed the new version with the strings. Ironically it was also in Santa Barbara 6 years ago. A WAY more powerful version, especially the strings at the end. Enjoy!

Also, the cello player is the same and she is very good. Plays with emotion and passion.

Thanks Chris. I had a perfect seat in the front row of the second section, which was great for capturing some good shots. There was the only walkway in front of me and how people could get in and out. No real big deal, as I got a chance to test out the settings on the new camera. Messed up a few videos by not balancing out a few things and they came out with too much white, specifically when Natalie was directly under the main spot light. On a positive note, a few of the videos came out pretty clear and I was zooming in from over 100 feet or so. Its a Sony and still need to understand all of the manual settings. The auto features are great, but also need tweaking. I'm definitely an amateur but love sharing Natalie's gems...

No, these are great! I couldn't care less about white balance, etc., I'm always ecstatic to see new Natalie footage!
