บ้านเรามีชาวต่างชาติ ทั้งตะวันตก อินเดีย จีน มีโบส์ถคริสทั้ง 2 นิกายหลายแห่ง มีชาวซิกค์ แขกปรากี แล้วที่เยอะคืออิสลามหรือมุสลิม ทั้งชีอะ กับสุหนี่ ตอนเด็ก 7-8 ขวบหน้าบ้าน(ฟุตบาท)มีชาวต่างชาติเดินผ่านทุกวันถึงเย็นฝั่งตรงข้ามเป็นโกดังเก็บสินค้าของเมกา กับอังกฤษไปจนเอเชียทรีค(ห่างจากบ้าน 60 เมตร แต่ก่อนก็เป็นโกดังเก็บสินค้า เลยไปเป็นของเซ็นทรัล เบียร์สิงแล้วก็ของ CP ทำให้ส่วนนึงทั้งคนไทยกับคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนในละแวกนั้นมีส่วนร่วมในเทศการต่างๆ แล้วตอนนั้นร้านค้าต่างๆ ตั้งแต่ถนนตก สีลม ตรอกจันทร์สาทร ชิดลม สยาม เซ็นทรัล พาราก้อน CTW(กำลังสร้าง) มาบุญครอง นี่ยังไม่รวมทางใต้ของกรุงเทพลงไปตามถนนสุขุมวิทอีกนะ(ตอนนั้นยังไม่มีถนนพระราม 9 พระราม 2 แล้วก็ พระราม 3 เลย) แรกเรามีถนนมังกร ต่อมาเป็นถนนทองคำ(เยาราช) 60 ปีผมโตมากับความเจริญและทุกอย่างของกรุงเทพมาจนถึงเจนที่ 3 แล้ว ภูมิใจกรุงเทพ ภูมิใจประเทศไทย..ครับ

Oh Wow Natalie what a beautiful magical experience. Your excitement when you see the moo deng's is uplifting and warming. Yes, mulled wine is very moorish at this time of year. It's quite easy to make at home if you are having a dinner party or friends around for the holiday season. It was good to see the local people embracing the lights and the festivities.
