When I was only 9 years old my parents wanted me to learn country music on the steel guitar. Guess what was the very first music lesson? "Nearer My God To Thee". I remember this song stirring my young spirit... and planted a seed that has been through 'WRETCHED' poor decisions, BUT GOD IS FAITHFUL in producing fruit for His glory. All praise to Him.

You know I love all music and I understand that the Contemporary Christian music appeals to the younger generation and maybe partly responsible for filling the pews , but there is something beautifully haunting about the old hymns . Natalie.. Your playing is just fantastic. It reminded me of the time when i played duets with some great friends of my parents in the 80's We played a lot of Hymns and switched between left hand and right hand playing the tunes and also sung in parts with my 2 brothers. BRILLIANT

you and your family have filled a great void in music for our churches of today, not against the modern day hoopla - my youngest son is the Minister of Music in his Southern Baptist Church -- all band, loud and boldly different - it is minus the gospel saving grace of redemption - just self satisfying loud and no one goes to the altar for prayer after those "sessions" - hearing these songs more than thrills my soul - keep singing, keep playing the piano, keep on keepin' on and on dear ones

Not only love to listen to you play but, watch you play. Am 66 yrs old and up until about 4/5 yrs ago played(no where nearly as good as you) the for church. Started playing in a small southern baptist church that I attented in CA when a junior in high school till moved back to Arkansas in 1975. Then started playing at night for church and the piano teacher I had when I took lessons played the organ. Eventually, taught myself to play organ and took over playing when pastor retired and his wife played organ and church need a new organist. Was the organist for about 35 yrs. Our church went with mostly a more contemporary selection and no longer used the organ. Loved your arrangement of Child Of The King. Gaither Vocal Band has a good new arrangement of it on their latest cd. Sorry didn't intend to be so long.

Beautifully done! Yes, you do need a bass; but not to worry. A retired nurse-anesthetist filled in. Took me back to when I used to sing in many venues: four quartets, a trio, and choirs, both men's and mixed. Where is home base for y'all?
