Lyrics
My heart
These words are my own
Threw some chords together
The combination D-E-F
It's who I am, it's what I do
And I was gonna lay it down for you
I try to focus my attention
But I feel so A-D-D
I need some help, some inspiration
But it's not coming easily
Trying to find the magic
Trying to write a classic
Don't you know, don't you know, don't you know?
Waste-bin full of paper
Clever rhymes, see you later
These words are my own
From my heart flow
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you
There's no other way
To better say
I love you, I love you
Read some Byron, Shelley and Keats
Recited it over a hip-hop beat
I'm having trouble saying what I mean
With dead poets and drum machine
I know I had some studio time booked
But I couldn't find a killer hook
Now you've gone and raised the bar right up
Nothing I write is ever good enough
These words are my own
From my heart flow
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you
There's no other way
To better say
I love you, I love you!
These words are my own
From my heart flow
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you
There's no other way
To better say
I love you, I love you!
I'm getting off my stage
The curtains pull away
No hyperbole to hide behind
My naked soul exposes
Tryna find the magic
Tryna write a classic
Waste-bin full of paper
Clever rhymes, see you later
These words are my own
From my heart flow
Don't you know
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you
There's no other way
To better say
I love you, I love you!
These words are my own
From my heart flow
(They're from my heart.)
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you
There's no other way
(There's no better way.)
To better say
I love you, I love you!
These words are my own
They're from my heart
I love you, I love you!
That's all I got to say
Can't think of a better way
And that's all I've got to say
I love you. Is that okay?

Giorgina Maria That’s.... really stupid, songs have been about sex and love for a long time, I mean this song literally goes “I love you I love you I love you” and love is one of the most meaningful things you can ever write about, nowadays songs aren’t about anything meaningful or real, just a bunch of random shit.

This song reminds me of my childhood summer. School was out and I would stay awake till 3am and mtv would play this non stop. In the morning I would go swimming and then to the mall with my friends. The simplicity of life is what is miss the most. The nostalgia hit hard. As a 90s kid I truly feel we got so lucky with music and cartoons.

This just instantly takes me back to middle school. I remember how this song was everywhere at that time. It was just such a happy and carefree time of my life. I think life was at least still a little easier for tweens and teens (well, and people in general) then than it is now. Of course, Myspace was getting popular back then and I definitely remember some of my friends and classmates using it, but social media still certainly hadn't evolved into what it is now. I never really heard about anybody getting "cyberbullied" and definitely didn't hear about all these kids killing themselves after being bullied and harrassed online like we do now. I just really miss the early 2000s when things just seemed a lot happier!

she did wrote a classic. It's funny how she says that at the beginning of the song and actually does that.

Fun fact: When she sings 'But I feel so ADD' it made me feel good about myself as someone who actually has that condition.

N FIFTH GRADE I WATCHED THIS VIDEO ON VH1 WHEN THEY STILL PLAYED MUSIC VIDEOS IN THE EARLY MORNINGS AND THIS WAS PLAYING.. I WAS LIKE DAMN THIS FUCKIN BANGS MY GUY... BUT THEN I HAD TO LEAVE AND I HAD THE WORDS STUCK IN MY HEAD FOR WEEKS .. SERIOUSLY. I DID EVERYTHING I COULD TO FIND THIS SONG BUT I NEVER COULD. I LOOKED UP THE WEIRDEST LYRICS THAT NEVER MADE ANY SENSE. LIKE I THOUGHT THE SONG WAS THREE WORDS LOVE LOVE LOVE.... ANYWAY, I FINALLY FOUND THE SONG AND MY FIFTH GRADE TEACHER WAS LIKE YOU ARE A GEEK, WELL I PLAYED THE SONG THIS SONG THIS VIDEO FOR MY CLASS AND NO ONE CARED. WELL LOOK WHO IS LAUGHING NOW. I HAVE THOSE MEMORIES AND THEY ARE MINE. THANK YOU NATASHA YOU ARE THE GOAT. PEACE ~ NICK.
