Natasha Denona Glam Palette Review + 3 Look Tutorials!

I wanted this palette for a year, but it has been consistently sold out. I am 66 years old and work from home leading large global teams, often in video chats and meetings. I finally got my hands on this Glam palette. What most reviewers have failed to mention is that the shadows do NOT emphasize lid droops bags and wrinkles. Rather, it uniquely -one in a million - hides aging, and the shimmers add sparkle and youthful vigor. I am so pleased, I want to tell everyone over 60 to try this palette and experiment with all it offers.

Love your tutorials, and this is no exception. Thanks. One thing: on Natasha’s website, she has suggestions for reconfiguring the shadows within the palette, depending on if your skin tone is pale, medium or dark. That way, for example, the transition and blend shades will be the right for you. The suggested new configuration took me from being “meh” to “wow” on the palette.

Hi Angie, enjoyed this video. For me, I'd rather use ELF Bite-Size Eyeshadow palettes. The shadows are so easy to apply and feel like a creamy powder. Several palettes to chose from plus the price is so much less expensive. Also, I love the ELf brushes, have so many expensive brushes and I'm finding the ELF brushes are very much like the expensive brushes I have. Have you tried the ELf products? I'm 71 and many of their products are helping me look better. Compared to the high-end glam products I have, I must say I'm finding many of the ELF products are right up there with the high-end products.

I have never spent that much on a palette but everyone who I watch on KZbin has just raved about it. I’m a cool toned fan and it really does look exceptionally fab. Hi Angie, thank you for the review and tutorial. I hadn't planned to buy another eyeshadow palette this year but picked it up a couple of weeks ago, for the same reasons you mentioned. I'm over 60 and was a bit concerned the shimmers would emphasize wrinkles but as long as I keep them to the moveable lid portion it looks fine. I'm happy with the palette and find I can create a variety of looks suitable for daytime, not just nighttime glam looks. I agree with you about the pale matte brow bone shade missing being the only limitation of this palette. I also agree this is very blendable, and user friendly. I have the Anastasia Soft Glam palette as well and find that one so pigmented it is harder to blend. It is described as neutral but to me most of the shades are warm. It is hard to find cool toned palettes these days.

LOVE this format !!! , maybe consider doing with other upcoming palettes the same way - 3 looks. That way users can have one stop shop when copying you to apply. I purchased this palette weeks ago hoping you would do a tutorial. YAY! This is also my first ND palette after hearing SO much about her formula. I am a mature lady (71) I just recently purchased this palette. I was blown away with how easily these shadows applied. No fuss, no muss. Glidded over the imperfections of my mature eyes. I live in S. ON CA & that palette is $87.00 here, which made me think twice, but not sorry I purchased it. Agree w/ ur comments. Are all ND palettes the same?

I justified buying this palette because I skipped out on the ND Bronze and Love palettes and I love the cool tones. I agree there may be too many shimmers and not enough mattes but I have been adding in mattes from other palettes to give it more versatility. The shimmers are beautiful however! I think the “silver” look on you was my favorite.

You should really try Philosophy's Purity Made Simple. Islandgirl8 I got this pallet last week and it is much easier to just use one of the shimmer colours on your finger like Angie does. It looks pretty and easier to do than with the brush! I usually then put some of the darker colours in the outer corner. It’s worth getting 😊

I think your three looks are beautiful, however is there a dupe for this that doesn't have so much glitter and cost less. 60 + dollars is way to high a price point if I won't be able to use the glitter colors. Could you compare it to the Color pop new taupe palette.

Natasha runs good sales on her website , especially around Black Friday, but generally only her older palettes, like the Gold, Lila, Star, and big 5 pan palettes. Last year they were 30% off and the $48 5-pans were BOGO Free. Her insane $200+ palettes were also BOGO. If you're wanting the Glam palette this year, I would wait for a Sephora sale (if you know an employee, there's a 20% sale starting this weekend), and the annual sale for everyone is usually around November! Hope this helps! And take it from someone who never thought they'd spend so much on eyeshadow, once you try ND you will want more of her shadows. They're top of the line when it comes to pigmentation and lasting power!

And one more thing...show us what you look like wearing the greys/shimmers with your cool natural self. All we see are the pinks that you rock at! I'm cool and wear greys/silvers with my white hair.
