Natasha Denona Hy-Per Natural Palette

For those who have a deeper skin tone like me, I have this palette and the bronzer works on my skin tone. For reference, I wear Fenty 385, Fenty skin tint 17, PML 23 and Rare Beauty 420N. I use the darkest bronzer in the palette and it shows up like a soft hue of cool- toned brown. It gives a soft- glam look. To apply, I use the PML highlighter brush because it’s narrow enough to not pick up the powder of the other bronzers. I wear the deeper blush and it looks great! I love this palette! My only complaint is, I wish she would have stuck with the old eyeshadow formula. I’m not a fan of the creamy formula. It creases on my eyelids after so many hours even with a tacky eyeshadow primer but I still love it!

It’s definitely a beautiful palette. I can get away with wearing everything in it. It’s funny how everyone is finding something they both love and dislike about this one. I wish she’d come out with another iteration. Thanks so much for sharing your experience with the palette. 🥰

I think your review is the first that made me see the appeal of this palette. The eye look in particular was really flattering on you. I still dislike that it's been marketed as universal when it's clearly not, but I like the concept and hopefully they'll come out with alternative blush/bronzer colors that can be swapped out for other tones.

I’m glad to have come across your video! I was wondering how the palette would look on medium, tan, and deeper skin tones. I found I can use the bronzers (the lightest one doesn’t show up at all on my fair skin tone so I don’t know who it’s meant for), blushes, and 2-3 of the eyeshadows but the deeper eyeshadows are too deep for me to use for anything other than a full blown smoky eye. I think she should have made two different palettes. I wonder why she didn’t. I hope there’s a second one coming. Thank you for the review!

I wish she had done a second, or even 3rd palette, just to cover a broader spectrum of people. The formula is nice, imho, but the shade range is limited for quite a few folks. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for watching! 😊

Hello beautiful friend! I just knew you were going to feature this palette. I think brands should come with a choice of three face palettes. One for fair to light-medium, medium to medium-deep and then one for the richest tones. Is that crazy? Someone with your skin tone would be in the middle. I know it’s costly to produce but there would be plenty of people who would might fall through the cracks. It is a pretty palette but I have ND Bloom, Diamond and Blush palettes and two of her duos. I think I’m good. I do plan to keep an eagle eye out for Danessa’s Groundwork 2! That seems ideal for me. I’m wondering if you’re interested in the new Lisa Eldridge mascara and kitten flick eyeliner. I just saw her tutorial and it looks perfect for someone like me who lost most of my lashes and eyebrows? Fuhgeddaboutit! 😂 I ordered the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer in the anti-aging formula that you recommended and it’s coming tomorrow! I’m so excited. I did get the ND Yucca palette and I’m wild over it. I also ordered Danessa’s Yummy Skin Serum foundation. I saw Nikki La Rose demo it and it sounds so good for my dry as desert skin! I hope you’ve had a nice weekend. Mine was all about cooking and watching classic films…..AND playing with makeup. None of my girlfriends are really into makeup so I watch KZbin and have fun. I think you are so right about brands offering multiple palettes to accommodate more skin tones. I know she had a lot of success with the light and deep face palettes she released previously. I don’t think it would have been to hard to do more variety for the face products. It is definitely a pretty palette, but brands can be more inclusive. In 2024 it’s pretty clear that makeup consumers run the gamut! We had a nice weekend and are already looking forward to THIS weekend! 😂 I can’t wait to hear what you think of the UD primer. This just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I wouldn't be able to use the deeper shade and lots of people won't be able to use the lighter shades. Even using them as eyeshadow it just seems like a waste of product! The eyeshadows are very pretty but a bit on the boring side

I can definitely appreciate your feedback! I really do like the formulas, but there were choices made when it came to the colors. Face palettes definitely need a range and I’m surprised she only released one.

I don't like this only because I know that my daughter, whom has that gorgeous deep skin wouldn't be able to use this. I could, I'm a ginger that doesn't burn. But that's not fun for me if I can't share that experience with her. These brands are really being obtuse about shade ranges for all skin tones 😔 . In a way it has kept me from spending my coins. I truly appreciate hearing from you and I agree that the brand could have been more inclusive this round. I’m not sure why they thought the bronzer would be sufficient for anyone with a skin tone any deeper than mine. As I mentioned, anyone interested in this should get it on sale.
