I think the look is beautiful and the palette is very pretty. Maybe it’s the primer, sometimes I find if the primer is too sticky, the shadows don’t glide easily 🤷🏻‍♀️ Happy New Year Julie💕

I wish I could blame a primer but I didn't use one. Maybe it didn't like the concealer on my lid but that matte did not blend at all! The shimmers are beauti8ful! Happy New Year! 🎉🥂🎉

I removed the dark shade and put in a warmer lighter shade from another Natasha five pan palette. I’m that girl, all of my Natasha palettes are a jumble to suit me. Retro is the only palette I have left alone. 😂

Did you move the dark shade out because you had issues with it like I did or just because you don't use dark shades? I'm curious if that shade has issues blending or if it was just a "me" problem.

@ It was too deep for me. I use colorful eyeshadows on the outer third of my lower lash line and tightline with pencils in my upper lashes. If I did smoky eye looks it could make a nice liner, but I avoid dark shadows because I can snap into Eudora on Bewitched really FAST!!😂 I didn’t even try it on my eyes after an arm swatch. Sometimes Natasha shadows look very different from the pan, so I did swatch it.

Hi Julie love the final look I think sometimes it's the brush that is the problem. Try a different one next time for the brown

Hmmm...I was using a Rephr which I use all the time however it was recently cleaned using the Cinema Secrets brush cleaner. I will have to try it again with a different brush to see if that makes a difference.

After I reworked my two five pan palettes, I gave the one with that deep matte from the Rose and Wood and some other deeper shades and a gold shimmer to a friend. She has dark hair and the rejected matte from Rose and Wood will be a good brow powder color for her. ❤

How do you remove the pans from the mini pallettes? I've never managed to do so! I'd love your tips and tricks.

@@annikasterner9251 I've never done it from a 5 pan palette before so @bettyvick2850 can answer that, however there are holes on the back of the palette so you could probable use a pin to push them out.

@ The larger five pan palettes and the 15 pan palettes have holes in the back where you can use a larger 🪡 needle or a pair of manicure scissors to dislodge the magnetic grip. Then you can rearrange all the pans to personalize the color story. I have only had one five pan mini, and it didn’t have that option. They were set. Unfortunately, I dropped that mini nude palette and several pans shattered inside the case. So, I discarded the creamy ones that were going all hard pan from 15 pan palettes, and repressed the nude shadows into those emptied pans. I know it’s extra, but the hard pan shades that I can’t pick up with a brush or fingertip just BUG me. 😂

Every time I try to make an eyeshadow look with a dark brown I always wind up looking like I’ve got two black eyes.🤷🏻‍♀️ For me, the more Shimmer the better 🎉

I'm not a fan of super dark shades especially when they don't blend like this one. I'm just glad the shimmers were spectacular!

Happy new year Teri!! Natasha's shimmers rock! That matte shade was horrible! My New Year's Eve was low key. I stayed at home with dogs as well. We have a dog plus we are dog sitting for my brother so we have two additional dogs at the moment. My two cats are not very happy! lol 🤣🥰
