This is sort of a let down, the multichrome needed to be more special, like really popping, or add more special shades so this palette can be really worth it...

This palette looks better than the promo pictures. I have hooded wrinkly eyes (I'm an older woman) so this is an automatic pass for me as the 'special' shades would be completely wasted. However, I love your eyeshadow - gorgeous!

I bought this for the interesting mattes. I love that the colors are muted. They are more wearable. I agree with you about indie multichromes, but it is very difficult to get them. Sydney Grace has been out of the powdered multichromes forever. I am not a fan of liquid shadow. I have been waiting for a Clionadh order for eight months. They occasionally email me about Covid relate delays and that they are expanding by moving into a bigger factory. Your look is 💣, love it!!!!😍🥰

JD Glow and glamshop have amazing, affordable, and always in stock multidimensional shadows. Glamshop always has sales too. They ship immediately too. Idk if Terra Moons is always in stock but they were when I ordered and shipped right away too.

I just wish Natasha Denona had gone with the $65 version of this palette! $129 is so steep for colors that I don’t think I would get much wear out of, but they are very pretty and unique!

I actually love the colour story of this palette and all the matte shades, they're all such beautiful colours. My issue is with the three shimmers, they just don't have the wow factor I was hoping for. I was considering getting the palette but for $205 the shimmers really should be better

Amazing review as always Morgan, that look came out 🔥🔥🔥 I truly wonder if Natasha made these multichromes more muted for ppl that just want to dip their toes into the multi chrome territory... also not sure if anyone mentioned this but this palette will be an incredible companion to her liquid multi chrome line, literally every shade of the liquid multi chromes she created can go with one or more rows from this palette and I thinks that is both intentional and amazing! ❤️

Tbh I wish this was smaller in a midi size and with more multi chromes to justify. Or at least some shimmer/metallics to help out. I feel like gigabyte/megabyte, nightcreature, and sextraterrestrial are very similar in my PMG collection.

I'm kind of obsessed with this palette but I completely agree with you I wish there were more than just 3 shimmers considering that's what the palette is named after. I love the mattes and shade choices and even set up but I just think this was almost a trial pallete for the shimmer formula anyway, hence why it's limited edition as well, maybe? I'm glad the formula is consistent with other natasha denona quality, I know some of her other tradition $129 palettes have had some inconsistencies. Like the triocromes here I'm having a difficult time seeing even a duocrome shift to them let alone three shades in the shade. I think I'll try some indie formulas thanks for your recommendation! ❤️ As always I love, appreciate, and respect your review thank you so much for your dedication and hustle you put so much time, effort, and money into it and we appreciate you so much!

You have to wet your brush or use your finger and the multichrome’s will pop a lot more!

I've never used multichromes and was wondering why they were only applied with brush when normally for metallics they use wet brush, finger or glitter primer. So I assume those techniques apply to MC as well? Awesome!

Hey girl, I get mine tomorrow. This is my first $129 Natasha, when I first saw it on trendmood, I thought it was absolutely GORG and had to have it, but I’m not going to lie, I am disappointed that the trios are lackluster, everyone is saying it, and I agree there should’ve been more, it looks pretty, don’t get me wrong, but I just wish they had a little more pigment, so glad that u used the purples, everyone put green on their lids. Hmm on the fence about this one, I feel like I wouldn’t be able to create a ton of looks with palette. Also I wonder how they would appear on darker skin women. Like you said I was expecting a bit more special shades. I feel like for $129 it shouldn’t “lack luster” I think I’m gonna pass on the launch. Unless I get it for Christmas lol. I heard someone mention on instagram that they believe this was supposed to be released in the summer or with the liquid version but with covid it got pushed back. Which makes sense to me. I actually had decided against this palette then I saw your review, yours is by far the best I have seen so far. I'm going on a very low buy next year, I just have too much makeup, do you think this is worth it being my last eyeshadow purchase for awhile?

YES!!! And get it from Sephora when you can save some coins!! I’m ashamed to say I have fallen in love with ND and so this year I collected all of her palates except the full size 5 pan palates and the two large 28 pan palates! I don’t have all the minis either but I have the Star palate and all the $129 palates. I’ve used coupons on all of them or points. Do it! Next year I will be in a low buy after an extravagant year. I’m trying very hard to limit and only purchase from brands I love! ND and ABH. I love Juvia’s Place and colourpop when I the itch for something new. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Your review & comparison of this palette is the most helpful I’ve seen by far❣️ Since some metallic shimmery shadows emphasize the texture on my lids, I order this palette for the unique matte shades. But seeing that the multi-chromes are not overly reflective, I can probably use those, too. Have you tested these multi-chromes shadows wet or over a black base to see if they really pop?
