through the whole video I was thinking "please say you're not straight, please say you're not straight" :(
@ela47398 жыл бұрын
is she straight? online it says she's bi? she could be but maybe she's not ready to come out
@eLsiity8 жыл бұрын
+lol omfg well I always thought that she could be at least bi, but she never really say it anywhere and she always said that she has only dated man and..... I just don't know sometimes she talks about women too but it's seems like she is joking or being sarcastic soo I am not really sure.

This has got to be the best speech I have heard in a long time. I teared up more than just a little. Everything that she said speaks volumes...I love her more now than I ever have. Natasha Lyonne is one of my two role models, I love her so much.

This is an incredible acceptance speech . . . we should all try to emulate this amazing person's love and support of the LGBT community, and everyone else as well! Love that OITNB has provided the most recent opportunity for her to shine!

this just made me love and look up to her even more.

I hope Natasha sees this. Her movies were such an escape for me being a gender non conforming young teen! I had her photos as my MySpace wall! When she wasn’t in the public eye I would always google her to check on her, so when OITNB came out I was SO thrilled! So happy to see her getting her credit and flowers now! She is an icon! Her early films really helped shape my love for the arts and made me proud to be who I am!

But she also said she don't want to be labelled, so I think she might also have a "thing" for women but jsut don't want to categorize herself

Natasha is obviously a very talented, confident , out-spoken woman with a dedication to equality that is simply inspiring. I’m sure she’s done lots of things and, in her future, there will be tons more roles that she will make her own, but I will adore and admire her always as the naïve-but-inspirational Megan from _But I’m A Cheerleader_. It’s amazing to me that someone so confident and so outspoken can fit so easily and naturally into a role that seems the polar opposite of the actress who portrays her. I didn’t know (until 4 years after the presentation of this honor) that Natasha had earned the Ally award but I couldn’t imagine a more deserving person than she. Kudos to HRC for recognizing such a devoted champion and _Brava_ to Natasha for her dedication and her obviously-passionate advocacy for the rights of LGBTQ people everywhere! 😊👍

Leave it to me to point out that THIS amazing woman is accepting her award to the song in the background, "Second Wind" By Kelly Clarkson, another amazing female role model & amazingly huge talent. Really an uplifting and inspiring song. If you don't know it, give it a listen. I'm absolutely in love with this speech, and not only totally in love with both "Megan" & "Nicky", both played by Natasha, but also completely in love with Natasha herself. What an amazing, super intelligent, talented woman. I absolutely love everything about this speech.
