This is an amazing recipe. When we got married, our venue provided a carrot wedding cake and it was so good. I never did get the recipe but this is so similar. I used crushed pineapples, and made the cake into a single layer cake in a 9x13 pan, and cooked according to your directions for modification. It came out perfect. Thank you so much!

I finally made this carrot cake for dessert last night for my family! OMG! It is absolutely delicious! It is so moist, and tasty, easy to put together! It’s really easy to make - dry ingredients, wet ingredients and mix them together. I just put everything in front of me not to forget things lol. And I use only the golden raisins for this cake - they’re not too sweet and just perfect. Natasha’s recipes are fool proof (talking about myself) 😁

I've now made the carrot cake, today I am making it again. It has been such an amazing GREAT success, everyone LOVED IT!! I shared it with my neighbors and by far this has been the VERY BEST FAVORITE cake! Since I am so new to baking (thanks to you that makes everything so easy and fun) i am thrilled and am now working on my second round of this cake! everything is going smooth! I lowered the powder sugar in the frosting by a lot. I do not like things that are so sweet and must say that it came out perfect!

Made this cake earlier this week and it's already gone. All my family loved it! It was sooo moist and delicious; don't skip on the freshly grated carrots (not the food processor---hand grate as she instructs) and the applesauce. The icing is very creamy and really compliments the cake. I had extra which made my hubbie happy. He kept it in the fridge and ate spoon full each day until it was gone. I personally would like a little more cinnamon and nutmeg but it's great either way. The cake is very light in flavor and not heavy on your stomach (not a good thing...keeps you coming back for more). The icing balances perfectly with the cake for a perfect sweet but not too sweet desert.

Looks fantastic. My son made me a carrot cake for my birthday last year and got very creative with the frosting on the edges. Apparently he used a Lego brick to make a brickwork pattern around the outside. The total effect was spectacular, bricks, windows and a door. The latter two being made from small pieces of cake cut from the middle of one of the cake layers. Oh, I almost forgot, it had garden beds surrounding the door and under the windows made from frosting and glazed fruit. It looked and tasted wonderful. The ratbag won’t cough up his recipe which is why I was watching your video, I’m going to try to replicate his for his birthday cake.

We made this carrot cake. We had to make it without the walnuts (as wife is allergic) also without raisins. It was SO DELICIOUS. We had to freeze some for our lunches (as the kids would have eaten it all lol.

Carrot Cake is one of my favorite cakes . Here’s the thing I’ve never made a cake before and I’m north of 1/2 a Centre old . This was not as complicated as I expected and it came out perfect. I omitted the clove and used crushed pineapple and used just over 16 oz of carrot did not want to waist it . But it was a very good cake. Thank you for this video .

My son visiting from FL to cny n his favorite. He use to buy at store. Made it today used less carrots, added vanilla, was outta olive subbed with olive infused lavender good thing wasn't strong.
