I thought about this. She said she didn’t think that their affair was physical. She found out about Lorri AFTER Lorri was arrested. Not just after Chad was arrested. So in theory, she *could* have known about Lorri before, but not the context? I could have interpreted it all wrong though. I don’t think Emma was a credible witness, but I do think I agree that she may have been brainwashed by her dad, as it seems others might have been?

The way how Emma spent so much time tarnishing her mums character. Saying she didn’t want to go to the doctors, was unfit, cheated on her fit-bit. She clearly received the questions beforehand. The responses were so rehearsed. Chad was nodding when she gave the agreed responses to Priors questions. Emma was awful to watch and listen. Shame on her. Emma was caught in so many lies it was embarrassing. And Prior saying, if she needs a break or a drink or tissues at questions about her mother. It was like Prior was telling her, good time to cry and show emotion. Not 1 tear for her mother. There was more grief from Tammys siblings and work colleagues than from her own daughter. I was so upset with anger listening to emma.

Emma was very structured in her comments. You can tell that she has been coached very carefully not to go off script. I observed that Chad was sitting up very straight and was 'tuned in' to everything his daughter said. Nate and Erica, you make a very appealing couple-authentic and very connected to your viewers. I have followed both trials very carefully and I am still trying to make sense 'who did what.' It's hard to imagine that such ordinary people can do such destructive things to others.

Emma talking about her father being the patriarch made me realize even more that he was someone who wanted to be in control and was the leader in the Lori/Chad relationship. Her saying she had been possessed by an evil spirit made me realize she buys her father’s BS. I have soooo many questions. 1- did anyone else notice how when Pryor was with Emma, her responses were very lengthy and almost sounded rehearsed? If there was an objection, she tried to answer anyway - like she’d lose her place? Yet when Lindsey asked questions her answers were almost always single word (like they should be unless asked to expand) 2- I’ve never heard if data from the fit bit was recovered… or the Fitbit itself? I can’t believe both of those kids got on that stand and lied their booty’s off. And then prior says that they weren’t charged with perjury. Well no it’s hard to charge for perjury .

Emma only said that part about being an amateur meteorologist because she needed an explanation for why she was googling wind direction. She has no explanation. Plus, why would she remember googling something like that? Also why do it on her parents’ computer? It makes no sense.
